What do you think of [name_m]Orso[/name_m] on a little boy? Would it work well in a French/English speaking family?

[name_m]Orso[/name_m] is very cool - I like the sound and the earthy, woodsy vibe!
It feels similar to [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_m]Otis[/name_m] etc. so it could work

It definitely has a cool sound, but I immediately thought torso. I prefer the similar [name_m]Otso[/name_m]

I like the bear meaning, but my first thought was torso and arse. It’s not the end of the world, just something to think about! I think [name_m]Orson[/name_m], [name_m]Otto[/name_m], or [name_m]Otso[/name_m] could also be nice options - and the general vibe and sound of [name_m]Orso[/name_m] also reminded me of [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], [name_m]Elio[/name_m] and [name_u]Milo[/name_u], other short and soft -o names.

Very cool! I love the animal connection and the cool O ending. I do also think of orzo the pasta, but I don’t think that makes it unusable, just something to be aware of.

I think [name_m]Orso[/name_m] is super cute! It is unique, yet it’s easy to pronounce and fits in with the -o trend. And while it would be darling on a little boy with a special teddy bear, it would age well, too.
It’d work fine in [name_f]English[/name_f], and from my knowledge of [name_u]French[/name_u] it would work fine there too.

Oh, I think it is just charming! It is intuitive to spell and pronounce, so I would say its very usable in an [name_f]English[/name_f] household, though I can’t speak as to its wearability in [name_u]French[/name_u].

Sure, it would fit into today’s name landscape without being common. I didn’t think torso at all! The first thought I had was [name_m]Orson[/name_m] so to me it sounds a bit incomplete, maybe better as a nickname?
