I love both [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] and [name_m]Osric[/name_m] (both with the nickname Oz/Ozzy), and I can’t decide between them, so I’d love to hear others’ opinions. Include reasoning as to which you like more, if you want!

[name_m]Osric[/name_m], although [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] has been growing on me too 
[name_m]Osric[/name_m] feels a bit more magical, a bit more mysterious, a bit more majestic — while [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is sweet & comfortable. [name_m]Osric[/name_m] feels like the perfect sweet spot between familiar and unique, and the nickname [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] helps make him feel more approachable. Really love him!
I love seeing [name_m]Osric[/name_m] as an alternative to [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] because I love [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u]!
I think [name_m]Osric[/name_m] is sleek and simple, but still interesting.
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] feels a bit clunkier, and is hard for me to imagine on a little boy. Also it reminds me of the fish for some reason, although I’m sure this is not true for the majority. I also hear “scar” alot when I hear it. It’s [name_m]Osric[/name_m] for me!
I much prefer [name_m]Osric[/name_m]! [name_m]Easy[/name_m] decision for me. It’s so cool and underused. I don’t know why, but I’ve never seen the appeal of [name_m]Oscar[/name_m].
I personally prefer [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. But they are both great names. Ozzy/Oz are adorable.
Definitely prefer [name_m]Osric[/name_m]! I don’t like [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] that much, and [name_m]Osric[/name_m] has more gravitas as a name.

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is really cute especially with the nickname [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u]! I have nothing against [name_m]Osric[/name_m], I just think [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is more wearable and I like the sound.

Both are fantastic, adventurous sounding names but I lean toward [name_m]Osric[/name_m] because it’s unexpected and rare
I know a really amazing little [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], so this name is my favourite. If it weren’t for this association I might prefer [name_m]Osric[/name_m], as I like that clunky medieval vibe! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_m]Oswin[/name_m]?
I prefer [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], but with the NN [name_m]Oz[/name_m], [name_m]Osric[/name_m] makes more sense. [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] doesn’t have an “Oz” sound, [name_m]Osric[/name_m] does.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] 
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is gentler, warmer, kind of more poetic. Also more familiar and popular, but still with spark
[name_m]Osric[/name_m] has a more rugged, distinctive sound; it’s literary and ancient in vibe. Less expected and less popular.
I personally prefer the vibes of [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], but it depends what you want from the name!

[name_m]Osric[/name_m] is a name that hadn’t even been on my radar, so I read this thread with interest, curious about others’ opinions too!! It does have a medieval sound, slightly magical, maybe a bit ominous, but in a fun way. It’s a cool alternative to the more currently trendy [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]! [name_u]Love[/name_u] them both, and they actually give similar vibes to me, clunky-cute with a note of endearing grumpiness (maybe from [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] the Grouch, too)
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] since [name_m]Osric[/name_m] seems too close to ostrich for me

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is my pick. I like [name_m]Osric[/name_m], but [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] being more classic puts it a bit more in the realm of my style. I especially love [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] as a nickname so either work very well with that. That being said, I’d be delighted to spot an [name_m]Osric[/name_m] in the wild!
I really love [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. [name_u]Ive[/name_u] met a few LOs with the name of various ages, and I’m always completely obsessed! That being said, perhaps [name_m]Osric[/name_m] is less common. With the nickname [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u], I don’t think you can go wrong either way

[name_m]Osric[/name_m] is really cool! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the medieval vibe! [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] feels very grumpy, old man to me; [name_m]Osric[/name_m] feels fresh and adventurous! Nn [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] is really neat too, and I feel like it fits [name_m]Osric[/name_m] better than [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. Maybe it’s because [name_m]Osric[/name_m] has more of that [name_m]Oz[/name_m] sound at the start, whereas [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is softer in sound (at least to me!)
