It gives off an international, metropolitan, cultured vibe.

Oz/Ozzy Nickname: [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] seems a little bit trendy right now, but not [name_m]Oz[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Oz[/name_m] is sweet. I also don’t like the other names for which [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] is typically a nickname: [name_m]Oswald[/name_m] & [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], but I really like [name_m]Oslo[/name_m].

[name_m]Oslo[/name_m] is very cool - sort of on trend, rough and tumble, but also cosy knitted vests, welly boots and teddy bears, and also a city savvy vibe???
I don’t think Oz/Ozzy is trendy, yes, on trend, but not in a way that’s going to make it super dated.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it. Couldn’t get my husband onboard so I used it for my [name_f]Elf[/name_f] on the Shelf. I also love [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] on it’s own. Got much closer to actually using that one.

I like the sound of [name_m]Oslo[/name_m], and I’m surprised I don’t see it more often as it fits many current trends (Nordic vibes, ends in -o, old man nn, etc.) [name_f]My[/name_f] main association is the capital of Norway, and I might assume an Oslo’s parents had some kind of connection there. Like I mentioned, [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] is certainly on trend and I do see it continuing to increase in usage as both a full name and nickname.
I’d name siblings something equally snappy and high-energy.

As someone from Europe with Norwegian friends, I do find [name_m]Oslo[/name_m] to be an odd choice for a name, but I have to agree that the sound is cool and fun!
For a sibling name I’d expect something short and quirky. [name_u]Ziggy[/name_u], [name_u]Remi[/name_u], [name_u]Fox[/name_u], [name_u]Saint[/name_u], [name_m]Ty[/name_m], that kind of vibe.
I adooore the nicknames [name_m]Oz[/name_m] and [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u]! I’ve not heard much of them at all, so I definitely wouldn’t describe them as trendy.
