This is a just wondering type of question.
If you are a girl what would your name have been if you were a boy or vice versa? Also, what were other name ideas your parents had? My name is [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Helen[/name], but if I had been a boy I would be [name]August[/name] or [name]Augustus[/name] [name]Eugene[/name]. My parents also liked [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Corinne[/name] (my sisters name).
This is an extra question, but what would you rename yourself?
If I had been a boy, my parents were between [name]Michael[/name], [name]Douglas[/name], and [name]Lincoln[/name]. [name]Eugene[/name] would have been my middle name. Other girl’s names they considered were [name]Audra[/name] and [name]Heather[/name].
I like my name now, but I liked the idea of changing my name to [name]Gabrielle[/name].
My mom only had on ultrasound her whole pregnancy with me and they told her I was a boy. She never thought of a girls name because she thought I was a boy the whole time. They didn’t know I was a girl till I came out. She was going to name me [name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name] (I think on [name]William[/name]).
When I came out a girl, she picked [name]Angel[/name] [name]Starr[/name]. She’s never really explained [name]Starr[/name] to me, but [name]Angel[/name] she says is because I “saved her life” because she got clean and became a more respectable person when she found out she was pregnant.
I don’t think my mom had an ultrasound at all. Either way, she didn’t know to expect a boy or girl. I’m [name]Alexandra[/name] [name]Taylor[/name] (Last Name) but had I been a boy it would have been [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Taylor[/name] (Last Name) so I would have been [name]Alex[/name] either way.

Not sure what my name would have been if I were a boy, but they were also considering [name]Elizabeth[/name] for my first name. I am [name]Kimberly[/name] instead 
I was named [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Cynthia[/name] after my grandmothers, and had I been born a boy, the original plan was to name me [name]Charles[/name] [name]Dominic[/name] after my grandfathers. ([name]Charles[/name] was my paternal grandfather. [name]Dominic[/name] was my maternal grandfather’s middle name.) However, since I already had two older cousins named [name]Charles[/name] by the time Mom got pregnant, they decided they would either go with [name]James[/name] (Dad’s name) [name]Dominic[/name] or [name]Thomas[/name] (Grandpa [name]Charles[/name]'s middle name) [name]Dominic[/name] instead.
As for what I would rename myself… Well, [name]Zoe[/name] is my favorite girls’ name, but I don’t think I really have the personality to pull off being a [name]Zoe[/name]. I can definitely see myself as a [name]Catherine[/name], though, which was my mother’s favorite name that she never got to use due to my dad vetoing it. (Well, she likes it spelled with a K, but I prefer it with a C.) Or maybe [name]Veronica[/name], which I chose as my confirmation name.
