Other Options

Okay, earlier I posted a very helpful thread giving me feedback about the name [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] for a girl. The overall reaction was no to [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]. Since this advice was so helpful I decided to post my other choices.

Siblings: [name_u]Hayden[/name_u]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]

Twin #1 (Boy)
[name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_m]Allen[/name_m]
[name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_m]Jerome[/name_m]

Twin #2
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Leyla[/name_f]
[name_u]Spencer[/name_u]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]

Okay, if the boy twin is [name_u]Reid[/name_u] you cannot do [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] for the girl twin. Criminal Minds is kind of popular and there’s a character called Dr. [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] there.

[name_u]Reid[/name_u] & [name_u]Piper[/name_u] or [name_u]Reid[/name_u] & [name_f]Leyla[/name_f] are my favourites with the siblings. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is very frilly with sister [name_u]Hayden[/name_u].

[name_u]Hayden[/name_u]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] sounds perfect.
For [name_u]Reid[/name_u] I like both middle names equally.
I also like [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Reid[/name_u] for twins.
Good luck!

[name_u]Reid[/name_u] is a nice choice. (I would also like [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] for the boy!)

It’s funny because [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] feels unisex, but hyphenated with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] the name becomes extremely feminine. So you could go totally feminine or more unisex–just not as masculine as [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]. I would choose [name_u]Piper[/name_u] for you. It’s the most similar to [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], but clearly a girl name, so the sex of the twins is clear.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a middle name set? [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] popped into my head.

I really like [name_u]Hayden[/name_u]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] together. My second choice would probably be [name_f]Leyla[/name_f]. I agree with pp that [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] would be too frilly with the other names. [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] is not really my style, but the combination of [name_u]Hayden[/name_u]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] sounds fine.

I like Piper with your other ones, too. Seraphina (though gorgeous!) and Layla almost seem too girly for Hayden-Rose, and Spencer and Reid are definitely a no go. I didn’t see it before, but now I can’t undo the Spencer Reid thing! The two names work perfectly together (when I first added Spencer to my list, I seriously wanted Spencer _____ Reid, but it’s just too much), but I wouldn’t go there. Shiloh isn’t really my thing–I don’t like it on a girl at all, and it seems too celebrity-inspired for me–but I think Piper is perfect. Hayden-Rose, Beckett, Reid, and Piper. They’re lovely. And Pip/Pippa are adorable nicknames, too. Even Pippy. I think Piper Leila or Piper Serafina would be lovely combos, too. Then you could use your girly middle names, and not leave either girl feeling left-out. I know I have a unisex name and my two sisters do not, and I always was jealous of them. I still wish I had a feminine name.

Good luck!

[name_u]Hayden[/name_u]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], [name_u]Reid[/name_u], and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] are very nice together. I prefer [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] to [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_m]Jerome[/name_m].
