hello! my boyfriend and i are currently trying to name our first baby together but we need some help.
we’ve managed to get his first name down to two options: otis or auburn “aubie”, but we’re having trouble deciding any further.
for his middle names we need a bit more help, it’s a tradition in my family to have multiple and we’re pretty sure we want to use westley as one of them (we don’t care if it’s the first or second middle!). the trouble is finding the other perfect name! some of the names we like are salem, jasper, corbin, emerson, lowell, cyrus, and fenris but none really feel right.
so any middle name suggestions for otis or auburn + westley would be very helpful!!!
let me just say, lovely choices you’ve got here!
I’d recommend taking Nameberry’s Name DNA quiz to get more recommendations based on your name style (:
Otis - short, sweet, and strong sounding all at the same time. Otis Westley flows well in my opinion. Otis ____ Westley could also work depending on what goes in the first middle spot.
Auburn - less common on a boy which I love about it! i’d be delighted to meet a little boy named Auburn, and “Aubie” is a lovely nickname. gives me warm, autumnal imagery. Auburn Westley/Auburn ____ Westley also flows nicely.
if it was my choice, I think I’d go with Auburn!

I love [name_m]Otis[/name_m]! It’s such a spunky, quirky choice with real vintage flair. I’d definitely go with it over [name_u]Auburn[/name_u] ‘Aubie’, although I do think this option is quite cute, too.
I really like both [name_m]Otis[/name_m] and [name_u]Auburn[/name_u]! I’ve never considered [name_u]Auburn[/name_u] for a little boy but I really like it. For that reason I’m voting for [name_u]Auburn[/name_u].
[name_u]Auburn[/name_u] [name_m]Westley[/name_m] works nicely together. Could you use [name_m]Otis[/name_m] as the other middle name since you know you like it? I’d do [name_u]Auburn[/name_u] [name_m]Westley[/name_m] [name_m]Otis[/name_m] to break up the vowels a little.
