Otto

Honest thoughts on [name_m]Otto[/name_m]? I’m a little concerned about it’s popularity as it rose to the 400s this year. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it will become more popular? Possible middles suggestions welcome  last name would start with an R and end in a “blikk” sound.

I never even heard his used as a name before at all. It automatically sounds like auto and toe to me. I know it’s not but that’s what it reminded me of. I don’t know, not a fan.

I adore Otto! We considered Oliver Thomas nn Otto for our new baby.

Otto George
Otto John
Otto James

[name_m]Otto[/name_m] is adorable! One of my favourite boys names! I’ve never met anyone with the name, it’s quite uncommon where I live. Could be because of my accent but I don’t hear auto at all

I love the name [name_m]Otto[/name_m] It definitely fits in with trendy names at the minute but If you like it you should use it.

I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m]'s a very cute name, but it definitely skews quite [name_m]German[/name_m] in my eyes. Maybe that’s because the only ones I’ve ever known have been friends of my grandmother…

I never used to like [name_m]Otto[/name_m], but it’s grown on me over the years and I now see its appeal. I don’t think it’s overly trendy/common (at least where I live) and it’d make a nice choice for a little boy. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] I like best of your middles - sweet and simple.

[name_m]Otto[/name_m] is definitely not my own cup of tea, but a great name overall. I grew up in Germany, so to me it feels old and stuffy, but then again, such are some of the names that are currently coming back. I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] definitely has a “cute” factor too which makes it attractive to imagine on a little boy. I know one little [name_m]Otto[/name_m], and all others are either ancient politicians or somebody’s grandfather.

I love it! Super cool name. It’s like the nickname for [name_m]Octavian[/name_m] possibly but I prefer [name_m]Otto[/name_m] as a complete first name as he’ll get called [name_m]Otto[/name_m] anyway so might as well cut it down from the start. Definitely a great name!

I love [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. My father’s side is 100% [name_m]German[/name_m] and it’s a family name for me (my father’s MN & my great grandfather’s first). I am pleasantly surprised it’s getting so much attention lately! I wouldn’t worry too much about popularity though.

I love the name [name_m]Otto[/name_m]! I think I know two [name_m]Otto[/name_m]'s under 4. Only 612 boys were named it last year in the US. I like [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m], [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u], and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]. I think it would flow well with lots of middle names.

[name_m]Otto[/name_m] is cute! We used [name_m]Otis[/name_m] for our son. I know a family in Australia with 6 kids who have an [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. These names all seem to go well together.

[name_m]Otto[/name_m] is adorable! I, too, was going to mention the Australian family of eight with an [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. Such a wonderful association, in my eyes!

I love the name [name_m]Otto[/name_m]! I first began to love it thanks to the australian family mentioned in a previous comment (life with beans on youtube!)

I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] is the sweetest name. It’s also handsome, and adorable. The only one I know is the one from youtube, too! So I dont think it’s that popular (depends on where you live, I suppose!)
I think a lot of different names work well with it, which is great. My favorite suggestions so far are [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], & [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]!

(the other [name_m]Otto[/name_m]'s middle name is [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], by the way!!)

I’ve only heard of one baby named [name_m]Otto[/name_m] within the last few months… and nobody else before that ever! I don’t think it’s very popular where I’m from. I think it’s a little too spunky and short to become extremely popular.
