Otto

[name_m]Ive[/name_m] been crushing HARD on [name_m]Otto[/name_m] lately. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think people would people would misspell it (or mispronounce it) as Auto?
WDYT of the combo [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepard[/name_m]?

[name_f]My[/name_f] other top boy name is [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Truett[/name_m].

[name_m]Can[/name_m] you see brothers [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]?

I love [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. So handsome and strong and elegant and… everything. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepard[/name_m] is nice. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] & [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] are stylistically very different for me but there’s no reason to not to use them together.

Otto [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] is beyond handsome :star_struck: I personally think of [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] as having pretty different styles, but of course there’s no reason you couldn’t use them as brother names!

I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] make great siblings! I love [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepard[/name_m]!! [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] Trutt is a great combo as well.

Otto is cool! I don’t think it matches perfectly with [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], but they don’t clash either. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepard[/name_m] as a combo is wonderful, and I think it matches really well with [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Truett[/name_m]- the middle names make them feel more connected, I think.

In my accent [name_m]Otto[/name_m] would be pronounced the same as Auto- just something to note if you’re worried about that.

I adore [name_m]Otto[/name_m] too! It’s so strong, dashing and cool. I love O ending names and this one blends both quirkiness and gravitas.

Otto [name_m]Shepard[/name_m] is a wonderful combo, and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] are great together :+1:

I say them slightly different. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] is more AHt-to vs auto is aw-to. Im not sure if it bothers me. I feel its in the same realm as [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] (soy-er) vs [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] (saw-yer)

I love [name_m]Otto[/name_m]! I don’t think anyone would misspell [name_m]Otto[/name_m] as Auto. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepard[/name_m] sounds nice. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] doesn’t seem like the most obvious set but I can totally see them as brothers.

And also fun fact the LN starts with H, so his nn could be literally Oh. I kind of like it

I like [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. I think its easy to spell and pronounce. I find it hard to see how people could hear it as Auto, but maybe in some American accents? I’m British, and cant imagine a British person pronouncing it that way. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] is fine, but I dont particularly love it. I think I [name_m]Otto[/name_m] sounds good as a brother to [name_u]Spencer[/name_u].

I love [name_m]Otto[/name_m]! It’s quirky yet solid and goes well with [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]. For me the pronunciation is entirely different to ā€˜auto’ but I’m not American; I must say I do prefer it with an Australian/English accent but it still works and I don’t think people will necessarily confuse it with ā€˜auto’.

Love [name_m]Otto[/name_m]! [name_f]My[/name_f] rancher grandmother had a hired man named [name_m]Otto[/name_m], a sailor, and I’ve loved it ever since.

I say [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and Auto the same way.

I love [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m], prefer that to [name_m]Shepard[/name_m].

Otto and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] is a great combo, as is [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m].

Not a fan of [name_m]Truett[/name_m] myself.

Some are noting [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] seem to be of different naming styles.

Spencer to me is always the actor’s actor, [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Tracy[/name_u], and he could definitely have played an [name_m]Otto[/name_m].

PS
Curious how British pronounce [name_m]Otto[/name_m] so it sounds different than auto.

Otto [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] is an absolutely beautiful name! [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] are a gorgeous set

I really love [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepard[/name_m]! I don’t think people would misspell it as Auto. I think enough people are familiar with the name that they would spell it [name_m]Otto[/name_m]

I like the name [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. There is a drummer in a band that I listen to named [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and he seems pretty nice. I picture a quiet, creative boy who loves to have fun.

Me too! Someone should post a sound clip.

I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] is pretty easy to pronounce and spell. I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Shepard[/name_m] has a nice flow to it. I like the name [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Truett[/name_m]. [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] make a great sibset!

Ask and you shall receive @Harvest-[name_u]Endellion[/name_u] and @Mickeywich

It’s 7am and my voice sounds bizarre but the accent doesn’t change :joy:

I’m in the midwest US and no one would get [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and auto confused here.
[name_m]Otto[/name_m] = ah-toe
auto = aw-toe

I like [name_m]Otto[/name_m] a lot, btw!

I’m in the US midwest and pronounce [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and Auto the same way, but I can’t imagine anyone misspelling the name that way!

I think it’s a cute name – makes me think of playful otters! I like [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] as a middle name! Would give him the initials OS like operating system which is pretty cute if you’re into computers/tech.
