We are expecting our 2nd daughter in february 2014 and still haven´t decided on a name jet.
Our first born daughter is called “[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]” (born 2011) (middle name: [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - in relation to my middle name: [name_f]Sonja[/name_f] which is the russian version of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]), now we are looking for a name that is also classic but not too popular.

If I choose “[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]” (with [name_f]Christine[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a middle name) they will not only have the same initials (E.L.) but also have names that both start with [name_f]El[/name_f]… - and yet they sound very different. Nicknames could be: [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f] ([name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lizzy[/name_f] would also match…)
If I go with “[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]” she will share initials with her father and my mom. Also here in Europe “[name_f]Nina[/name_f]” (my name) is a short form of [name_f]Katherina[/name_f] / [name_f]Catherina[/name_f] and since [name_f]Lizzy[/name_f] and I “share” a version of the same middle name ([name_f]Sonja[/name_f] & [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - both versions of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]), it would be nice to have a similar connection to one of her names, too. And not fo forget the nicknames: [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Kitty[/name_f], [name_f]Cat[/name_f] - [name_f]Kitty[/name_f] and [name_f]Lizzy[/name_f] match perfectly!
