My husband and I welcomed our first child, [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Hall[/name_m], on [name_f]April[/name_f] 20, 2018!
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is after my husband’s paternal grandfather, [name_u]Sam[/name_u]. We also just love the meaning behind the name [name_m]Samuel[/name_m].
His first middle name, [name_u]Robin[/name_u], is after my maternal uncle who passed away when I was a child. Sharing with my mother, aunt, and grandmother, that we would be using [name_u]Robin[/name_u]'s name for our son was one of the most meaningful moments of my pregnancy.
His second middle name, [name_m]Hall[/name_m], is my maiden name. My dad was more honored than I expected by our choice to include this in our son’s name, and it has turned out to be an apt choice because our boy came out looking just like my dad!
