We welcomed our new baby GIRL to the world by homebirth at around 10.30am today! [name_m]Little[/name_m] miss was 5 days overdue, and weighed in at a healthy 7lb 9oz
After having reached a deadlock between three names, and posting a very level poll here on NB, we went to our eldest to see which one she thought was best…and she has chosen [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]!
We are so in love, and [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is such a proud big sister…she hardly wants to leave little [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]'s side, and absolutely loves having cuddle time with her…so even after less than a day, our little family is better than I ever could have imagined, and the best early [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] present a girl could get, haha!
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] is a nod to my [name_m]German[/name_m] ancestry, and [name_f]Louise[/name_f] loosely honors my cousin [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]…which all fits in quite well with [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]'s name in that it’s a european first name, paired with an honor middle. At this stage we’re not sure whether or not we’re going to call [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] by her full name like we do with [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], we’ll just see what comes naturally
Ahh, congratulations on her safe arrival! I really love the name you picked, especially with her big sister’s name. [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] has great taste!
Congrats, [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]!! [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is beautiful and goes so well with big sis [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
