Our final list

I think we have found our final list, for the first name. There are some concerns with some of the names though, so it would be helpful with some opinions and comments on these names.
Brother is [name]Drake[/name] [name]Zephyr[/name], and surname will be Wilde.

[name]Billie[/name] - my dad wanted to name me this, so it’s a way of honoring him. But maybe too nicknamey
[name]Bellamy[/name] “[name]Billie[/name]” - #1 right now
[name]Emmeline[/name] - would perhaps use [name]Emmy[/name] as a nickname
[name]Kenzie[/name] - love it, but maybe too nicknamey?
[name]Keira[/name] - like it but I think it sounds a bit weird with [name]Drake[/name]?
[name]Kenna[/name] - Too nicknamey? [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Makenna[/name]
[name]Mackenzie[/name] “[name]Kenzie[/name]” - hate how popular it is. But i like the sound and I love [name]Kenzie[/name].
[name]Vida[/name] - #2 right now. We both really, really love it. But [name]Vida[/name] Wilde? Does it work? Is it someone that might sound a bit silly the first time, or is she forever going to be “the girl with that funny name” ?

[name]Billie[/name] - I think [name]Billie[/name] Wilde sounds like a male country singer’s name.
[name]Bellamy[/name] “[name]Billie[/name]” - Better than just [name]Billie[/name].
[name]Emmeline[/name] - Not bad, but I think you can do better.
[name]Hadley[/name]- [name]Just[/name] okay.
[name]Harlow[/name]- Nice and stylish, but the flow is off.
[name]Kenzie[/name] - Definitely too nicknamey.
[name]Keira[/name] - [name]Keira[/name] and [name]Drake[/name] sound very nice together! [name]Keira[/name] Wilde sounds lovely.
[name]Kenna[/name] - Too nicknamey.
[name]Mackenzie[/name] “[name]Kenzie[/name]” - Nice.
[name]Nova[/name]- [name]Nova[/name] Wilde sounds gorgeous!
[name]Sienna[/name]- Very lovely.
[name]Vida[/name] - [name]Vida[/name] means life… Life Wilde? Not many people (if any) would notice, but it would always irk me.

Favorites: [name]Nova[/name], [name]Sienna[/name] & [name]Keira[/name]

Hm… I really like [name]Billie[/name] but not as a full name, and I’m not wild about [name]Bellamy[/name]… Somehow when you mention them as one name, I like them more!
[name]Emmeline[/name] is no-fail, take it from me.
[name]Hadley[/name] and [name]Harlow[/name] are nms, feel a little too modern/trendy to my ears.
[name]Kenzie[/name], [name]Kiera[/name], and [name]Kenna[/name] aren’t my style either. Objectively, I think [name]Kiera[/name] is the most substantial.
[name]Mackenzie[/name] - yes it’s trendy.
[name]Nova[/name] - I know a [name]Nova[/name]. I didn’t like it at first, but now I think it’s really fun and zesty and beautiful.
[name]Sienna[/name] - A lovely color name. Like this a lot. Less “pop” than some of your other names, but it’s sleek and rich.
[name]Vida[/name] - Oddly, I prefer [name]Vita[/name] (“life”) or [name]Veda[/name] (“knowledge” in Sanskrit.) [name]Vida[/name] means life too, but it’s further from the root word. Either way, the sound is excellent.

[name]Do[/name] you like [name]Keziah[/name]? I think it’s fabulous. Biblical name, old African American name too. Could be excellent with [name]Drake[/name].

[name]Billie[/name] & [name]Bellamy[/name] “[name]Billie[/name]” - my #1 rule when it comes to naming is if you are planning on naming your child something (ex. [name]Charlotte[/name]) and only call them by their nickname (ex. [name]Charlie[/name]) then just name them their nickname. So, just name her [name]Billie[/name]. It’s a really, really cute stylish name!
[name]Emmeline[/name] - I’ve never been a big fan of this name simply because I don’t know how to pronounce it but, [name]Emmy[/name] is such a cute nickname!
[name]Hadley[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this name, but it has gotten popular.
[name]Harlow[/name]- Not my favorite
[name]Kenzie[/name] - Really popular, but cute
[name]Keira[/name] - [name]Drake[/name] & [name]Keira[/name] is THE cutest sib-set!
[name]Kenna[/name] - I prefer [name]Mckenna[/name]
[name]Mackenzie[/name] “[name]Kenzie[/name]” - could be a really cute middle name! [name]Billie[/name] [name]Mackenzie[/name] Wilde
[name]Nova[/name]- This is one of my absolute favorite names!
[name]Sienna[/name]- Another one of my absolute favorite names!
[name]Vida[/name] - [name]Vida[/name] Wilde, is too harsh of a name!

I vote [name]Bille[/name] [name]Mckenna[/name] Wilde, [name]Billie[/name] [name]Mackenzie[/name] Wile, or maybe even [name]Billie[/name] [name]Sienna[/name] Wilde.

[name]Drake[/name] [name]Zephyr[/name], drools What a cool name for your son!

Few names on your girl list give me that same ZING feeling as [name]Drake[/name] [name]Zephyr[/name], but if I had to choose, I think [name]Vida[/name] works best. Have you also considered [name]Viva[/name]? [name]Nova[/name] is also very cute. NMS, but cute. Has more of the zing factor than options like [name]Mackenzie[/name] (very tired) and [name]Sienna[/name] (very popular and trendy at the moment).

I think [name]Billie[/name] is really cute, but it does feel very nicknamey to me. [name]Bellamy[/name] isn’t my style at all, but how about [name]Willa[/name] nn [name]Billie[/name] (since [name]Billy[/name] is a nick name for [name]William[/name]), or Wilhemina nn [name]Billie[/name]?

I think [name]Nova[/name] is a good choice. [name]Sienna[/name], and [name]Emmeline[/name] are solid too. The suggestion of [name]Keziah[/name] is a good one or [name]Keturah[/name].

[name]Billie[/name] is my favorite on your list, but there’s kind of a [name]Billy[/name] [name]Wilder[/name]/ [name]Wild[/name] [name]Bill[/name] thing going on. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, but how cool would it be to be named [name]Billie[/name] Wilde?

I also like [name]Sienna[/name] and [name]Nova[/name]. I think they both sound great with your last name.

I’m not much of a [name]Bellamy[/name] fan. The only association I have with it is the comedian, [name]Bill[/name] [name]Bellamy[/name]. And for some reason it makes me think of [name]Bell[/name] Biv Devoe. I might be alone in that, though. I don’t really like [name]Vida[/name] either. It reads as old lady to me and at the same time makes me think of every health food product, ever.

[name]Billie[/name] - I like it. Wearable and spunky.
[name]Bellamy[/name] “[name]Billie[/name]” - I can’t stand the name [name]Bellamy[/name] for some reason, but [name]Billie[/name] is great.
[name]Emmeline[/name] - [name]Emmeline[/name] Wilde is gorgeous. My favorite from your list.
[name]Hadley[/name] - Too trendy.
[name]Harlow[/name] - Same as [name]Hadley[/name].
[name]Kenzie[/name] - Yeah, too nicknamey.
[name]Keira[/name] - I like it and think it sounds fine with [name]Drake[/name].
[name]Kenna[/name] - I wouldn’t use it if you don’t like [name]Makenna[/name].
[name]Mackenzie[/name] “[name]Kenzie[/name]” - [name]Way[/name] too popular right now, but it does sound good with Wilde.
[name]Nova[/name] - Can’t help but think of the PBS show and the nickname for Northern [name]Virginia[/name] Community College.
[name]Sienna[/name] - NMS, but nice.
[name]Vida[/name] - I like [name]Vida[/name] Wilde! I went to school with a girl named [name]Veda[/name] (prn: vay-duh) which sounds equally gorgeous.

[name]Don[/name]'t really care much for [name]Bellamy[/name]. I like how [name]Keira[/name] sounds with [name]Drake[/name]. I like [name]Siena[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Mackenzie[/name] and I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Vida[/name] Wilde.

[name]Billie[/name] reminds me of [name]Billie[/name] [name]Jean[/name] and [name]Michael[/name] [name]Jackson[/name], so I don’t like it. [name]Bellamy[/name] nn [name]Billie[/name] is a much more attractive option. [name]Vida[/name] Wilde sounds nice, not silly at all. I like the sound of [name]Keira[/name] with [name]Drake[/name]. I also like [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Sienna[/name], [name]Hadley[/name] and [name]Nova[/name]. I really dislike [name]McKenzie[/name], but [name]Kenzie[/name] alone is alright, [name]Kenna[/name] is just ok. [name]Harlow[/name] is not my style.

I’m really happy that most of you think [name]Vida[/name] Wilde sounds okay. We both really love it but were a bit concerned about how it sounded.

Are there any other options besides [name]Mackenzie[/name] and [name]Keziah[/name] to get the nickname [name]Kenzie[/name]? And what about [name]Kenna[/name], any other full name options except [name]Makenna[/name]?

And…what about Makendra? With that I could use three of my favorite nicknames: [name]Kenna[/name], [name]Kenzie[/name] & [name]Kendra[/name].

[name]Sybilla[/name] Wilde?

[name]Billie[/name] - I love [name]Billie[/name]. Could get around the nickname factor by using [name]Sybilla[/name] with the nn [name]Billie[/name]
[name]Bellamy[/name] “[name]Billie[/name]” - I don’t mind this, but favour [name]Sybilla[/name] Wilde to achieve your goal
[name]Emmeline[/name] - This is a lovely name. Can’t go wrong here
[name]Hadley[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] this name.
[name]Harlow[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this one also! So old Hollywood and glamourous
[name]Kenzie[/name] - Somewhat nickname - y
[name]Keira[/name] - Works well with [name]Drake[/name] to my ear
[name]Kenna[/name] - Too nicknamey? [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Makenna[/name]
[name]Mackenzie[/name] “[name]Kenzie[/name]” - [name]Mackenzie[/name] leaves me a bit cold as a name, but [name]Mackenzie[/name] Wilde is nice
[name]Nova[/name] - like it
[name]Sienna[/name] - [name]Sienna[/name] Wilde sounds like a great and untameable beauty
[name]Vida[/name] - I like it, not too weird at all

I like how [name]Keira[/name] and [name]Sienna[/name] sound with [name]Drake[/name].

[name]Sienna[/name] would work really well with older brother [name]Drake[/name]. [name]Bellamy[/name] “[name]Billie[/name]” also works, especially with honoring your father. [name]Hope[/name] this helps!

My absolute hands down favorite of mine for you is [name]Emmeline[/name]! It’s gorgeous and classy and just different enough. I like it with the iiine ending. Nn [name]Emmy[/name] is adorable

I like [name]Bellamy[/name] [name]Vida[/name] Wilde as a combo.

My favorites from your list are [name]Vida[/name] and [name]Keira[/name]; both would be darling with [name]Drake[/name]. I’m sorry, but I do not like Makendra.

From your list I like [name]Billie[/name], [name]Vida[/name], [name]Keira[/name], and [name]Emmeline[/name] best-- they all work well with [name]Drake[/name] and Wilde.

[name]Billie[/name] - I like [name]Billie[/name] ___ Wilde, but [name]Bellamy[/name], not so much. I really like the suggestion of [name]Sybilla[/name] (nn [name]Billie[/name]) Wilde.
[name]Emmeline[/name] - love it!
[name]Hadley[/name] - it’s okay
[name]Harlow[/name] - it’s okay, but the double W -ow Wilde makes it hard to say.
[name]Kenzie[/name] - it does seem too nicknamey to me-- what about [name]Kinsey[/name] instead if you want something like this?
[name]Keira[/name] - like this too-- sounds good with [name]Drake[/name]!
[name]Kenna[/name] - I don’t like this very much-- too nicknamey
[name]Mackenzie[/name] “[name]Kenzie[/name]” - [name]Don[/name]'t like it and too popular.
[name]Nova[/name] - it’s okay-- I prefer [name]Nora[/name].
[name]Sienna[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t like it and too popular.
[name]Vida[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this and don’t think it’s too strange at all!

Thanks for all the answers so far. I did the mistake to tell my younger siblings that [name]Bellamy[/name] was our #1. After their reactions and comments of the name, lets just say this…It’s not on our list anymore.
This is our list now: [name]Billie[/name] [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Harlow[/name] [name]Kenzie[/name] [name]Keira[/name] [name]Kenna[/name] [name]Mackenzie[/name] [name]Sienna[/name] [name]Vida[/name]
And maybe Makendra. I haven’t convinced [name]Jake[/name] about it yet.

About [name]Kinsey[/name] and [name]Sybilla[/name] that some of you have suggsted… I find [name]Sibylla[/name] extremely ugly, and I don’t like [name]Kinsey[/name]. [name]One[/name] reason I like [name]Kenzie[/name] so much is because of the K and -ie ending. And lets be honest…[name]Kinzie[/name] is horrible.

I definitely vote for [name]Vida[/name], both individually and in a sibset with [name]Drake[/name], it is such a lovely name!
([name]Nova[/name] would have been my second choice, but it seems she didn’t make the new list). Good luck! =]
