What are your opinions on our list so far? And any suggestions? ([name_f]My[/name_f] style is more modern classics like [name_f]Emma[/name_f], DH’s is naturey word names like [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]. Middle name is either going to be [name_f]Livia[/name_f] or [name_m]Livingston[/name_m]).
Emma - I love this one but I know it’s so common. I think it’s my favorite name on our list though…
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] - I prefer it with an “i” but he prefers it with a “y”
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] - maybe too long with [name_f]Livia[/name_f] or [name_m]Livingston[/name_m]?
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Meadow[/name_f] - Last name starts with a “w”, so I’m not sure if it works well.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] is an all-time favorite of mine, so that definitely wins for me! I also love classics, but I put the more out there word names in the middle (as you can see in my user card!)
Nice list! You can’t go wrong with any of them but my favourites are [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/Lila [name_m]Livingston[/name_m], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_m]Livingston[/name_m], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] (although I slightly prefer the sleeker [name_f]Tess[/name_f]) [name_m]Livingston[/name_m], and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_m]Livingston[/name_m] (although [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is so very popular). I know [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]/Lila [name_m]Livingston[/name_m] has the double L but it isn’t bad and in real life we only say our first name with our last name.
My favourites are Annika and Ruby. I think both work well with Livingston in the middle spot Ruby Livingston is perfect.
I like Meadow as well and I don’t think it necessarily matters that your surname begins with a W. The ending is the same as names like Juno, Margot etc, and they would work with a W surname.
Emma-This is such a sweet beautiful classic. It’s popular for a good reason. I guess you just have to decide how much it bothers you.
Tessa-So cute. Spunky, sporty, classy, well known but not over done. I love [name_f]Tess[/name_f] too.
Lyla-[name_f]Lila[/name_f] is so much softer looking to me. The ‘y’ ruins the classic vibe.
Annika-I think that [name_f]Annika[/name_f] [name_f]Livia[/name_f] or [name_f]Annika[/name_f] [name_m]Livingston[/name_m] is quite nice. [name_f]Annika[/name_f] is smart, a little bit bold, but simple & sweet at the same time. Plus, [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is a great nn.
Ruby-This seems like a good balance between modern classic & nature-y. Very cute, & a little glamorous.
Meadow-I don’t know. I want to like this, but it just sounds too much like a word & not enough like a name to me. I guess I’m just not used to it.

Olive-okay, that wouldn’t work w/the mn. But it could be a way to honor [name_m]Livingston[/name_m]?
@MichelleM I really like [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_u]Holly[/name_u], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], and [name_f]Thea[/name_f]! Also love basically any [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names but my niece is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]!
I looove [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]! [name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite is [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], though I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] better. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is nice too but agree that it’s so common.
I don’t think [name_f]Annika[/name_f] is too long. I love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_m]Livingston[/name_m], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_m]Livingston[/name_m], and [name_f]Annika[/name_f] [name_m]Livingston[/name_m]. I feel like they are in between the very common [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and the more out there [name_f]Meadow[/name_f].
I agree with @Greyblue. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] seem like the best style compromises, and they also happen to be my favorites from your list.
