We would also love to hear your suggestions of names not already on our list that you think we may love based on our “style”

Your list is very similar to mine
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is at the top of my list! There was a little girl at the daycare I work at who’s name was [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and she was the most adorable little lady - it made me fall in love with the name!
I also love the name [name_f]Evie[/name_f] - even as a nickname!
Also - I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (also on my list)
Your names are very classic and beautiful names - I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them! Although, I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] at my favorites!
Good luck!

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] - This name is so unattractive to me, sorry.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - Cute, simple, but a bit common.
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] - Seems dated to me.
Esmé - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name. Beautiful and underused.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - Very unappealing.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - Dated.
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) - Not my style.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) - It’s nice.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - Also a bit dated.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - Pretty.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - Not my style.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - [name_m]Way[/name_m] too common for my preference.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - Better as a middle in my opinion.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - Sweet name.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - I’ve never liked this name.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - Very popular, too popular.
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - Instantly reminds me of Frozen.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - Too common.

I love…

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]

I like…

[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]

Pretty but Overused

[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]

Dislike…

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]

love - [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (and [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]), [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] ([name_f]Evie[/name_f] would be a cute nickname), [name_f]Emma[/name_f]

like - [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]

neutral - [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f]

dislike - [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f]

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] - Very sweet. Could it be nickname for [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]/[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] as you like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]?
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] again
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] - Not a fan, I feel there are better names.
Esmé - Beautiful.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - I don’t find this pretty.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - On my list too.
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) - I love this, it seems so ‘vivacious’ and interesting.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) - I wonder if this is more beautiful than [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] even.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - This doesn’t appeal to me. The sound stops dead, to my ears.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - I am seeing a lot of this around. I like it, but prefer your other choices.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - Pretty
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - I find this elegant but because it’s so often used it doesn’t seem as special to me anymore.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - I would love this in the first name spot, it would be refreshing
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - Very sweet.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - Our friends have a little [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], and it is charming on her
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - I like it, but I know so many [name_f]Emma[/name_f]'s
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]. Short, feminine, strong.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - I can’t decide if I love this name or find it too frilly and close to ‘violent’

I actually love most of your list and in fact have considered quite a few of these for my own child!

[name_f]Nora[/name_f]- I like this as nickname for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/a
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]- I prefer [name_f]Elise[/name_f] by far, but [name_f]Alice[/name_f] has a timeless feel to it.
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] -I’m not a fan. I would choose the similar [name_f]Helen[/name_f] or [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
Esmé [name_u]Love[/name_u] this one, I considered [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Adora[/name_f] as a name option for my last daughter. It still makes me giddy.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] -I really do not love this name. Doesn’t feel like it could ever be youthful at all.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]- While it feels like it was taken from the same time as [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. It feels classy and lots of nn options.
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) Gorgeous name. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it’s [name_m]French[/name_m] flair. With the heavy V sound it’s similar to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (my favorite)
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is my favorite name ([name_m]How[/name_m] have I not used it!?) but I’ve never liked [name_f]Evie[/name_f] as a nn.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] I love how spunky [name_f]Etta[/name_f] feels with that jazz influence. I similar love [name_f]Effie[/name_f] and [name_f]Hattie[/name_f].
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] I do like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] but I love the similar [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] way better. I feared people would mispronounce it.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name, never found a home for her in my girl names.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] I understand how some people love this, but for me feels overly religious/virtuous and it’s used a LOT in the middle name position.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]- I do like [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but I prefer [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] over the stem name.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]- [name_f]Mia[/name_f] was nearly [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]. I’ve loved both a tremendous amount, but her dad weighed in. Still worked out, but love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]- Nope, I don’t hate it, but I definitely don’t like it either.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]- Cute name, very popular, I used the similar [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] for my daughter.
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]- [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] was nearly [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] (and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] at the end but I couldn’t come up with a middle I loved). [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is edefinitely next on my list if I ever had another girl, but I really wish I could’ve used [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] too!
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]- [name_f]Every[/name_f] time I see [name_f]Violet[/name_f] it just makes me think how much I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] as far as flower names go. I prefer the variation of [name_f]Violetta[/name_f].

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] - Nice, but sometimes feels a bit bland and stodgy to me.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]. Its only drawback is its rapidly rising popularity (assuming that’s a concern.)
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] - Feels frumpy, and will blend in with all the Ellas running around.
Esmé - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it! So elegant and cool.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite of the clunky-grandma names, but it would take a really awesome child to wear it well.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - Nice enough, but starting to feel ubiquitous.
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) - Like it. I slightly prefer the [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]/[name_f]Viviane[/name_f] spelling (unless you’re [name_m]French[/name_m].)
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) - Cute. Definitely a favorite here on nameberry.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - Eh, NMS. Has a southern, grandmotherly feel that I just don’t like.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - I really like this one, but I understand it’s megapopular in [name_f]England[/name_f]. You might like the similar [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] and [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f].
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - Feels very uninspired in the middle spot, still fails to make much of an impression as a first name.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - Same as [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - Same as [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but feels a little less generic and more vintage.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - The ultimate likeable name. It can feel cutesy and insubstantial, though, so I’d consider its longer forms.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - Definitely a nameberry favorite, but it just feels kind of dour and unpleasant to me.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - Possibly my favorite “top ten” name–it’s just so likeable and classic.
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - Sleek, classy, cute, and definitely more interesting than [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - Possibly the most sophisticated of the more mainstream flower names. I really like it!

Suggestions: [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Giselle[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it, I personally know a lot of people who have used it though
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - I really like it, but it just seems a little too plain… I want to like it more than I do
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] - Hmm… again, want to like it, but I’m stuck on the [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] Degeneres association.
Esmé - Not my style
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - [name_m]Will[/name_m] probably make a comeback but is still a little too old fashioned sounding.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) - I really like it and we’ve discussed using it, but it’s a little too feminine sounding for my taste, though that might be something really appealing to you.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - Really like it, feels a bit incomplete though.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it, but way too popular where I live :frowning:
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - People I’ve known with this name had destroyed it for me.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it - classic and beautiful
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - Really like it, just not a huge fan of the flower, so couldn’t personally use it haha
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - Really like it, but it’s too popular for my taste
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - Really like it, but I think with it’s use in the movie Frozen it’s going to be skyrocketing up the charts this year.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it

[name_u]Love[/name_u]:

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]

Like:
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] – would love if not for a particular personal association :frowning:
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]

Dislike:
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] – just doesn’t do it for me, but a lot of name berries love it.
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]

The rest I’m neutral on.

I love:
Genevieve (nn Evie)
Esmé
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]

I like:
Elsa
Vivienne (nn Vivi)Lucy
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
Rose

I’m neutral:
Eleanor
Isla
Elise
Emma
Etta
Evelyn

I dislike:
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
Agnes
Grace

[name_f]Nora[/name_f]- I like this name, but it’s really popular, I have several friends with little [name_f]Nora[/name_f]'s. One of them is one of the most evil children I’ve ever met, so I’m a bit biased against it now.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - I love this name, it’s happy and fresh

[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] - I’m a bit meh about this. It’s just so forgettable

Esmé - I love, love this name. It’s gorgeous and way too underused. I tried to convince my hubby it should be on our list but he just wouldn’t listen!

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - this could be cool, but it could be horrible too. It definitely has the vintage come back cool, but it also makes me think of cattle ([name_f]Aggie[/name_f])

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but I think you have more fun/beautiful names on the list

[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) - gorgeous, regal

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) - I like it, it would fit in without having the same name as 4 other girls in her class

[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - spunky, but more of a nickname

[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - lovely, sweet

[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - also lovely, graceful, with a touch of vintage without being overwhelming

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - really popular where I live. I knew 4 of them at the rural school I worked at last year. A nice name, middle of the road

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - I like rose names, definitely underused as a first name

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - sweet and spunky

[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - alright, I like the nicknames that are possible, ages well also

[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - honestly, way too popular right now

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - it’s in our top 3 right now, so I am biased  love it!

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - sweet and fun, soft
