[name_f]Jane[/name_f] Darling [name_u]Barry[/name_u] was born on [name_u]July[/name_u] 7th. She was only 5lbs 8oz but has been a complete joy for these first time parents!
She is the fourth [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Darling over many generations is my family, the most recent [name_f]Jane[/name_f] being my grandmother. This side of the family has just reached 124 years and five generations of only girls being born. We thought this history was pretty special and wanted to honor it… Also [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Darling was too precious to pass up!
Congratulations on your little Darling! [name_m]How[/name_m] sweet! My son was 5 lbs 10 oz “just barely perfectly baked” and he has grown more like a weed than the average baby because he’s catching up…consistently outpacing his growth chart and gaining in percentiles. Anyway take tons of pictures of your adorable bitty baby…she will grow so very very fast!
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] Darling is stunning!! I love the [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m] connections in her name ([name_f]Jane[/name_f] was [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] Darling’s daughter eventually, and the author was J.M. [name_u]Barrie[/name_u] - so even more of a connection there), what a lovely choice!
Amazing name! And love the [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m] connection as well.
It’s really sad. I’ve been researching family history, and in every generation along the female line for 5 generations there has been a [name_f]Teresa[/name_f] (yes, that spelling - I wonder why?), if you include my mother’s middle. I’m the first generation that hasn’t had the name. I’ve got my mums name as a middle instead, and a different first
Thank you all!! She is such a great baby, we got lucky.
The [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m] connection has come up before, but I didn’t realize the author’s last name was [name_u]Barrie[/name_u]… That is so cool!
