Five days late our second daughter was born last night.
Zari [name_f]Pania[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] joins big sister [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Alba[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f].
We had originally decided on [name_f]Zara[/name_f] but felt she didn’t suit it. DH chose Zari, another [name_f]Sara[/name_f] variation with [name_f]Sara[/name_f] being my mum and my own mn.
[name_f]Pania[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] was my choice. [name_f]My[/name_f] maternal family have a farm in [name_m]New[/name_m] Zealand that is named something very similar, and [name_f]Pania[/name_f] is a water nymph. I have always had a affinity with water and the sea. Likewise [name_f]Ayla[/name_f]'s middle name [name_f]Alba[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a reflection of her daddy originating from [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] (alba being a traditional name for [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]). So we have a wee Scottish [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and a wee wee [name_m]New[/name_m] Zealand [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
I love that both girls have the shared [name_f]Rose[/name_f] element too, linking them even if they eventually have different surnames.
She is beautiful, doing well and [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] is fascinated by her. Daddy and I could not be happier!
