In [name_u]March[/name_u] we welcome our first child, a son named [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. Often called [name_m]Dex[/name_m] for short. I’m announcing this late because we have just been so busy enjoying this little man and all he brings to our life.
We had always loved the name [name_m]Declan[/name_m] but almost didn’t use it for fear that it is becoming too trendy. Now I can’t imagine anything else fitting him.
We chose [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] out of nowhere when I was about 7mos pregnant. I noticed it on this site one day, suggested it, and we both fell in love. We kept his middle name a secret until he was born because we didn’t wish to hear what we expected to be mixed reviews.
We had so much fun together choosing a name for our little guy. I only hope he grows to love it as much as we do.
