[name]Annalie[/name] - [name]How[/name] about [name]Annalise[/name]!
[name]Alena[/name] - [name]Elena[/name] maybe
[name]Alia[/name] - nah
[name]Paisley[/name] - cute
[name]Ellison[/name] - nah
[name]Coralie[/name] - I really like!!!
Makinley - nope
Personally, I don’t like the l’s in your poll names (in fact, all of your names are dominanted by l’s). They just don’t flow with [name]Lane[/name]. I would avoid [name]Annalie[/name] altogether (too much like the word “anal”). [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Anneliese[/name]? Most of your mn’s are too matchy in sound with [name]Lane[/name]. From your list, I think these names sound the best with your surname.
1 [name]Coralie[/name] [name]Anne[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
2 [name]Ellison[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
3 Makinley [name]Anne[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
My favorite is [name]Coralie[/name] [name]Etta[/name] [name]Lane[/name] but even that isn’t great [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Coralie[/name] [name]Lane[/name] is awkward with the L’s. [name]Ellison[/name] is too masculine for me to recommend. [name]Alena[/name] [name]Lane[/name] doesn’t work. And Makinley is just a big trendy no for me. [name]Paisley[/name] is alright but still sounds weird with [name]Lane[/name]. And honestly it’s a pet name to me. [name]Alia[/name] can work but it’s still a lot of L’s and there will be issues with pronunciation. I’m not even sure how you would pronounce it.
[name]Annalie[/name] is too close to “anal.” There is even an “anal” joke about that exact name on the show Family [name]Guy[/name]. I would avoid. [name]Anneliese[/name] is much nicer.
Also, if you love the names [name]Grace[/name], [name]Rae[/name] and [name]Anne[/name] and they have meaning for you, that’s one thing. But those have become filler middles and are done to death. If you can stand to give them up, I definitely would.
First names that sound good with [name]Lane[/name]:
[name]Dinah[/name]
[name]Cora[/name]
[name]Antha[/name]
[name]Eva[/name]
[name]Ada[/name]
[name]Fiona[/name]
[name]Fia[/name]
[name]Kira[/name]
Middles:
[name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Willow[/name]
[name]Claire[/name]
[name]Frances[/name]
I voted for [name]Alena[/name], but I hav to say missusaytch’s suggestion of [name]Dinah[/name] [name]Lane[/name] (mn [name]Etta[/name]?) is wonderful.
I love the sound of [name]Dinah[/name] [name]Etta[/name] [name]Lane[/name].
Unfortunately, I don’t think any of the names in your poll or on your list sound good with [name]Lane[/name]. Too much of the L sound, as someone else said. I guess [name]Ellison[/name] sounds the best with it? But even that isn’t great.
I would go with [name]Annalise[/name] (alternate spelling [name]Annelise[/name]!)
I vote [name]Alena[/name] but from your other names I prefer [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Paisley[/name].
