On [name_f]October[/name_f] 10, our identical twins were born. At 6:46 AM [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] was born weighing 5 pounds 6 oz. At 6:57 AM [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] was born weighing 4 pounds 7 oz.
When we first found out that we were pregnant, we started thinking of names right away. We each wrote down a list of our favorite names before discussing them, and it turned out that [name_m]Miles[/name_m] was on the top of both of our lists. We agreed that a boy would be [name_m]Miles[/name_m], but when we found out it was twins we had to go back to the drawing board. We finally agreed on [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], even though we were afraid that it didn’t match with [name_m]Miles[/name_m] well. I am so glad that we chose it, because it fits perfectly.
We followed my husband’s family tradition of two middle names.The first middles are after very special people in our lives, and the second are names that we loved. As for nicknames, [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] has the obvious one of [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]. [name_m]Miles[/name_m], however, has received a different nickname for now. While pregnant, we dubbed them “[name_m]Chip[/name_m] and [name_u]Dale[/name_u]” and for some reason, [name_m]Chip[/name_m] stuck.
