I like them all except for [name]Tobias[/name] (too biblical), [name]Gus[/name] (too nicknamey, prefer [name]Magnus[/name] or [name]August[/name]) [name]Lorcan[/name] (needs to grow on me).
I like them all but [name]Lorcan[/name] and [name]Evander[/name]. [name]Lorcan[/name] just has a combination of sounds that is unappealing to me. [name]Evander[/name] immediately makes me think of [name]Evander[/name] Holyfield getting his ear bitten off. If you’re not in the US, that hardly matters.
If you’re concerned about popularity, I’d keep an eye on [name]Archer[/name] and [name]Everett[/name]. If you’re not currently expecting, I’d watch to see how quickly these climb the charts. I think [name]Archer[/name] is going to be big, and [name]Everett[/name] has potential.
Out of your list, these are my favorites and most of them I have or still am considering for future boys. Great list!
[name]Tobias[/name] ([name]Toby[/name])
[name]Hugo[/name]
[name]Edward[/name] ([name]Ned[/name])
[name]Archer[/name] ([name]Archie[/name])
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Bennett[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name], [name]Evander[/name], [name]Lorcan[/name], & [name]Edward[/name] are great.
I really dislike [name]Archer[/name], [name]Hugo[/name], [name]Bennett[/name], and [name]Everett[/name].
I think they’re all usable. I’m sure people have favorites and whatnot but they should all be considered “usable”. [name]Tobias[/name], [name]Hugo[/name], and [name]Lorcan[/name] are all on my list. I would admit that [name]Lorcan[/name] would be the most unusual of the lot if that sort of thing bothers you.
I really like [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Lorcan[/name], and [name]Edward[/name]. [name]Evander[/name] is starting to grow on me too, but I wouldn’t use [name]Evan[/name] as a nickname for it, especially if you want something less popular.
I think they’re all usable though (although I would spell [name]Everett[/name] like this).
I would use [name]Fergus[/name] ([name]Gus[/name]) in a heartbeat if I could get my hubby to agree. So adorable. Such the perfect blend of the mischievous little boy and handsome, masculine man.
