While I feel very solid with my pick for a girl, [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. I’m not as sure about what my standout boy name is. So I wanted to get some opinions. Out of the following boy names that I’d consider using for a first name, which is best?
I think [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], and [name_m]Soren[/name_m] would make a good sibset with [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. Of those three I think [name_m]Soren[/name_m] complements [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] best.
I like [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] with [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. I’m leaning most towards [name_m]Wilder[/name_m].
I like [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. I love the subtle connection between the lion part of [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] and the fact that a kit is a baby fox, although personally I would use [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as a nickname for [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], [name_m]Christian[/name_m], or [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]. [name_m]Foster[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] also work well with [name_f]Leonie[/name_f].
Ooooo you’ve got some of my favorites! I like [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], [name_u]Kit[/name_u], and [name_m]Victor[/name_m] with [name_f]Leonie[/name_f].
Oooh I love [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Kit[/name_u], and [name_m]Soren[/name_m] with [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_m]Soren[/name_m] are two of my favorites, and -darn, I think nameberry is making me rethink my opinion on [name_m]Felix[/name_m]! I’m actually starting to warm to it.
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u] are both great names but they feel a bit too “catty” to me together with [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] - maybe I’m overthinking.
I think [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] and [name_m]Soren[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] or [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] works best, plus I adore the names!
It is a lot of cat-related names. I only noticed it recently hahaha. It wasn’t an intentional thing, but if other people are noticing… it may be something to think about. Ultimately I think I have to rule out [name_u]Kit[/name_u] anyway because it would clash with the last name. Sadly, since I really dig it. It’s one syllable and only certain one syllable names don’t sound off with it. Like, [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] passes, but [name_u]Kit[/name_u] wouldn’t work.
I just wish I felt more strongly about any one boy name. I like them all but I don’t have that sense of “this is The name” as I do with say, [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] on the girl’s side.
