Overthinking & out of time !

I don’t think [name]Ivy[/name] will be teased re “poison ivy” - any such teasing would be fairly tame. If that is what is holding you back, then go for [name]Ivy[/name]. [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would be beautiful, too bad you can’t use [name]Lillian[/name] as a first name. [name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is still nice though. [name]How[/name] about [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]? Also very pretty.

My favourite is [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name], I’m a sucker for alliteration and I think this name combines the strength of [name]Ivy[/name] with the elegance of [name]Isabella[/name] very very well. [name]Lily[/name] as a full name is not my cup of tea (I love [name]Lillian[/name] and [name]Liliana[/name] though). [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] sounds too dated and old-ladyish put together. Have you considered [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] - I love the name [name]Elizabeth[/name] though I do think it may be a little overused in the mn spot  Try not to overthink this, “poison [name]Ivy[/name]” shouldn’t even be a concern, while [name]Lily[/name] is popular but dumping it for that reason would be a shame if it’s the name you truly love. Good luck!

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]!!

My favorite is [name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]! I think it sounds lovely! x

I love the name [name]Ivy[/name]. I think the combo [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name] is the best because [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is a flower overkill.

I honestly love all your options! They’re beautiful. Since I love [name]Lillian[/name] so much, I would probably opt for [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name], but I love [name]Lily[/name] far more than [name]Ivy[/name]. What about [name]Lillian[/name] doesn’t work with your surname? Would something like [name]Lilia[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], [name]Lilibet[/name], or even [name]Elizabeth[/name] work better? [name]Lily[/name] is an old nn for [name]Elizabeth[/name]–that’s where the variant [name]Lillian[/name] comes from.

I don’t know, [name]Lily[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], while pretty, seem a bit boring to me. Have you considered something like [name]Lily[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]? It seems to fit your style, and I find it much more interesting, personally. But there’s nothing wrong with your options–they’re all lovely.

Good luck!

Oh, they are all beautiful names, but if I had to choose one I would say my favorite is: [name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Too me the name has a wonderful flow and lovely sound. I understand your concern on [name]Lily[/name]'s popularity, but I wouldn’t worry too much–I’ve never met a [name]Lily[/name] in my life, but that’s just me. Although I do prefer a more formal version of [name]Lily[/name] most of the time I do not think that [name]Lily[/name] itself is too bad.

If you don’t mind I would like to suggest the name [name]Lilibeth[/name], which is a combination of [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Beth[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I think it sounds very pretty, plus I think [name]Lilibeth[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] sounds very nice too.

As for the rest of your names:

  • [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] - I stumble slightly when saying this name, but indeed it is very pretty.
  • [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] - Hmm… I have to say I this is my least favorite combination of your names.
  • [name]Lily[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] - Such a lovely name, but I like [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Lily[/name] more.

[name]Edit[/name]: I forgot to mention that I grew up with an [name]Ivy[/name] and she wasn’t teased in school, in fact she adores her name.

[name]Hope[/name] I helped,
[name]Em[/name]

Definitely prefer [name]Ivy[/name] to [name]Lily[/name]. Tbh Poison [name]Ivy[/name] was a much cooler character than any of the goodies in Batman, so not that I think there’d be much teasing anyway, but she can just be like yeah I’m badass, so what.

I like [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], if that’s at all an option for you. [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] are obviously related, so I’d use one of those since it sort of “counts” for both, but I don’t love the alliteration of [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] personally, so I prefer [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. (also if there’s any chance you’ll have another down the road, you could use [name]Lily[/name] which maybe not so much if you use [name]Lillian[/name] for a mn now?)

[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] has a great mix of spunk and tradition.

(I also have to admit that I don’t like [name]Isabella[/name] in the middle name spot ever because of how it sounds when you say it out loud. So I may be unduly biased against [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name], pretty as it looks.) I do like the idea of something like [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lilibet[/name] though.

I choose [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name], but of you are still hesitant on the poison ivy thing than I say go for [name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] (:

The [name]Lily[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] has too many Ls for me. On the other hand you just don’t use full names all the time so this might not be a big deal.

I like [name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].

I really love [name]Ivy[/name]. So simple and elegant. I don’t think teasing will occur. [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is the best by far!

I vote for [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] - cause then you still have [name]Lily[/name] in there and could even call her [name]Lily[/name] if you really wanted to.
I love [name]Ivy[/name] and I think it’s far more interesting and unique than [name]Lily[/name] as a fn.

If [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] isn’t an option, go with [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]. [name]Lily[/name] is just so popular these days, and [name]Ivy[/name] is an absolutely lovely name, sweet but spunky. (That said, I still think [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is perfect. [name]Lily[/name] is a reasonably common diminutive of [name]Elizabeth[/name], so you’d have that option later if you needed it without using [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name].)

between [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] I prefer [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]

Hmmm…
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] - I think [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] sounds prettier just because flows better other than [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] which feels strange.

[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this! [name]Ivy[/name] is a pretty name and I don’t think you should be worried about the poison ivy thing I don’t think that teasing will occur! [name]Ivy[/name] sounds really sweet and vintage with [name]Lillian[/name]. [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] flows so well and sounds timely.

[name]Lily[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] - I think [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Lily[/name] sounds prettier than [name]Lily[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]. But still I think this is pretty.

[name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] - Such a classic!!

What about [name]Liliana[/name] as a formal for [name]Lily[/name]?

I would use [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] just as the same seems to elegant and fits the bill as she isn’t as popular as [name]Lily[/name] but has the same style and you still get a ‘lily’ name.
