Please help. I am having a baby boy name crisis. I think I have now over thought it so much I really don’t know what I like anymore. I have tried to just leave it alone for a while and comeback to it, but I think I have listened to other people too much and now I am completely confused! I live in [name]England[/name] and the general thought is to name a baby something classic and traditional. Which I like the idea of but I really don’t want something that is too popular like [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Charlie[/name] or [name]Alfie[/name] or boring and conservative like [name]James[/name] or [name]Harry[/name]. I really want a name that is posh (I smile as a write this!) but interesting and not popular. My style initially is to go for unusual names, but I think I have reigned that in a bit mainly because of other people influencing me; as a result I named my daughter [name]Eva[/name]! I love the meaning of her name ‘life’ and would love something of a similar esque to her name.

[name]Edward[/name] is my least favorite of the ‘[name]Ed[/name]’ names. Maybe [name]Edmund[/name], [name]Edwin[/name], or [name]Edgar[/name] would give you something a bit more uncommon.
[name]Bartholomew[/name] just makes me think of [name]Bart[/name] [name]Simpson[/name].
[name]Oliver[/name] is a name I want to like, but I just don’t. It’s too popular anyway.
[name]Montgomery[/name] is ok, but the nickname [name]Monty[/name] turns me off.
Beaumont is very cool. I love the nickname [name]Beau[/name].
