New Development: my husband said we can use [name]James[/name] as the first name if he can have [name]Lincoln[/name] or [name]Link[/name] in the middle… this is very appealing to me, [name]James[/name] is an absolute favorite of mine, and [name]Link[/name] is one of his. I’d kind of rather use [name]Link[/name] than [name]Lincoln[/name], but not sure about that. Also, I’d want to have one of our really meaningful names with it, since neither of those actually mean anything to us, we just love them. Having a hard time coming up with a combo, though

Of the above, my favorites are [name]August[/name] [name]Dashiell[/name] [name]Rowe[/name] (I’ll pay you to use this one) and [name]August[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]James[/name] (I’ll pay you for this one, too, but not as much). For me, [name]James[/name] is just too ordinary compared to [name]August[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name]. ([name]August[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name], I love you!) That said, I’ll go with any of the [name]August[/name] or [name]Dashiell[/name] combos, because I think they’re heads above the rest.

[name]James[/name] [name]Cobalt[/name] [name]Cloud[/name]: This one does flow, but for me, it doesn’t do anything. This, of course, means nothing, because he isn’t my baby, and I’m not the one with the warm cobalt memories.

For me, the other names are unique, regal, and sophiticated, while [name]Cobalt[/name] [name]Blue[/name] is unique but too earthy/nature-related. It has a Native American sound, and doesn’t sound right with [name]James[/name]. Something just seems “off,” and the name sounds too feminine to me. (I don’t know many men who would like to have an ethereal middle name like [name]Cobalt[/name] [name]Cloud[/name].) I could see using [name]Cobalt[/name] or [name]Cloud[/name], but not both of them at once. [name]Dashiell[/name] [name]Cobalt[/name] [name]James[/name] is nice.

That said, if it makes you feel giddy, go for it! I’m going to come up with some more [name]August[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name] combos later…

What do you guys think of [name]Dashiell[/name] [name]David[/name] [name]Rowe[/name]? [name]David[/name] is his dad, and his brother’s middle. [name]Rowe[/name] is my Grandpa, Uncle, and brother’s middle. And [name]Dash[/name] is probably our favorite first name.
