Really sturggling with boys names. I really love the name [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] with [name_m]Oz[/name_m] for short but have been met with lots of comments about it being a popular dog name here in the UK. Also lots of comments that its too nicknamey. I
I also like [name_m]Jago[/name_m] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u].
Any preferences or suggestions would be massively appreciated?
I love the name Ozzy!! I’ve never heard of a dog called Ozzy, but to be honest: is a name being a “dog name” really so bad? Lucy, Bella and Molly are some of the most popular dog names, but I still know plenty of people with these names and they get by just fine! I think Ozzy is really cool and sweet, and it fits perfectly with trendy choices in the UK like Ollie and Alfie while being more interesting. Nicknamey names are the hottest thing right now in the UK! So that’s definitely not an issue if you ask me. And it’s not like you’re the only one using it - it’s in both the UK and USA top 500 most popular names! I say go for it

I love [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] and I have only ever heard one dog being called [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u]. I think nicknamey names are fine - and [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] feels substantial, cool and charming!
[name_m]Jago[/name_m] has spark and style and distinctiveness. [name_u]Marley[/name_u] is gentle and cool.

I’ve never met a dog named [name_u]Ozzy[/name_u] - in fact, I’d say [name_u]Marley[/name_u] is much more doggish. I also love [name_m]Jago[/name_m] a lot!
