So I know some people will find this question absolutely ridiculous but…is there any remote possibility that the name [name_u]Page[/name_u] could be considered masculine in today’s world? Or, is there any conceivable way to get [name_u]Page[/name_u] as a nickname for a more masculine full name? I find it so charming on a boy, but am of course worried about it’s popularity on girls. Please tell me what you honestly think…thanks!
I first thought of [name_u]Padget[/name_u] for a full name option. I don’t see why you couldn’t use just [name_u]Page[/name_u]. It’s cute! People might be confused at first but it is technically unisex anyway.
You could really go with any ‘P’ name for a full name:
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Padraig[/name_m] (pronounce POR-rick)
[name_m]Pagiel[/name_m]
[name_m]Paul[/name_m]
[name_u]Peyton[/name_u]
[name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]
[name_m]Philip[/name_m]
[name_m]Powell[/name_m]
[name_m]Pascal[/name_m]
I like [name_u]Page[/name_u] for a boy, but I’ve always found the name to be very androgynous anyway. The similarity to [name_m]Gage[/name_m] helps.
I had a male college classmate named [name_u]Page[/name_u]. He was very masculine without being macho…easygoing, hardworking, kind, woodsy. I like the name quite a lot and would more readily consider it for a son than a daughter in large part because of its popularity for girls. On a boy, it’s distinctive, but on a girl it’s a bit ho-hum. Go for it!
