I personally prefer [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] to [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. [name_f]Paige[/name_f] feels a little dated and stuck in the 90s to me, and whilst [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] is vintage, it feels ready for a revival. I also think the [name_f]Paige[/name_f]/[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] thing would become an issue. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] is an adorable sibset! I think [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is okay, but the double ‘n’ sound at the ends obstructs the flow a little for me. [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is gorgeous though!

[name_f]Paige[/name_f] is one of my most hated names. So, definitely [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f].

[name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_f]Meave[/name_f] are too matchy

[name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] are pretty close… I actually tried saying them aloud and mixed them up! Pave and Mage. Part of the reason you might like [name_f]Paige[/name_f] is because it sounds similar to your daughter’s name; people tend to favor certain sounds.

[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] are perfect together! I think they both give me very sweet, happy vibes without sounding exactly the same or being matchy. I agree with lamantchenille that [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] would be gorgeous. I also really like [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f].

P.S. “[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]-with-a-C”? I suppose you could spell it [name_f]Josslyn[/name_f]? But I’ve never seen that in my life, only [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]. I don’t think you’ll run into that problem. It’ll either be “Can you spell that?” from people who are unfamiliar/bad spellers, or people will assume it’s [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f].

Definitely [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]. As you mentioned and other posters agreed, [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] are very similar in sound (I can imagine calling for one, and both answer!), but [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] has a freshness that makes [name_f]Paige[/name_f] seem bland in comparison.

[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] has the lovely nickname [name_u]Joss[/name_u], and, like previous posters, I’ve never met anyone who spells it another way than [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f], so I doubt she would constantly have to say ‘[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] with a C.’

I like [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] a lot, actually, despite the repeated -n ending. Injects a punchy modern feel.

So I voted for [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] even though at first glance I actually preferred [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. However, I like [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] better with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I also love [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] while not a fan of [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]. I don’t really like [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] at all, not my style!

I think the suggestion of [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] is also adorable!

[name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] W- sounds great!

Thank you, everyone! Some great suggestions for combinations - time to get back to that drawing board! Also, I feel my concern about the names matching too closely isn’t unfounded, so thanks for being a great sounding board. Much appreciated!

I would go with [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]

Was torn at first but I too prefer [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. Another one syllable name would be fine if it didn’t have the same vowel sound. I also agree that [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is fresher and has more depth than [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] is more intriguing.

That said, I thought [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and PEW are both adorable! But [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] gets my vote. Good luck!

I love the name [name_f]Paige[/name_f], but it won’t go well with her sisters name.

I love both options, but I prefer [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]. [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] is the most popular spelling and the only one I’ve ever encountered (other than one [name_f]Joselin[/name_f]) so I doubt you’ll have to do much correcting.

I adore [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]! And I have never known a [name_f]Josslyn[/name_f] or a [name_f]Joselyn[/name_f], so I wouldn’t be concerned about spelling. But [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] really doesn’t flow well, imo. [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], on the other hand, is gorgeous!

I like [name_f]Paige[/name_f] a lot better than [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]. [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] feels kind of dated to me, while [name_f]Paige[/name_f] is sweet but at the same time lively. I love your middle names!

I would go with [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] but I would spell it [name_f]Jocelyne[/name_f]. Personally I find it prettier and in [name_m]French[/name_m] it’s no longer a boys name
