Pairing Josephine with Audrey

Hello,

I would love help coming up with some ideas on how you would use the name [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] with a big sister [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

Would you use [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a first or middle?i think it is super sweet but I worry it is too long and has many more nickname options than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

What would you choose as a middle name to [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]? [name_m]How[/name_m] about some first names to go with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a middle? I am sure there are many lovely options out there but for some reason I am stumped.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] & [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] lily
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] grace
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] violet
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] pearl

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is much more popular than [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] in the US, and it does have way less nicknames so my only concern is that her big sister will be jealous, considering she also has a common middle name
Personally I would use [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a first name, it is longer than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is still longer than [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
To be honest if I were you I wouldn’t use [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] at all (I love the name) but that’s just my silly opinion
I suggest [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] since [name_f]Grace[/name_f] matches [name_f]Rose[/name_f]'s style the best in my opinion
I also really like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f]

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] would be perfect together!

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]

They are both good names, but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] seems so fey paired with the more solid [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].

I love the idea of [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a middle. I like it with something plain like [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].

Wow I am kind of surprised to see such a wide range of opinions! For those who don’t love it as an option with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] (who is 2 btw), what other names would you recommend? Thank you again for your help and ideas!

What kind of names do you usually like?

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Maria[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Joselyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Donna[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]

I think they sound great together, and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Jo[/name_u] would be super cute. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] would be a lovely combo!

My favorites on your list are [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I tend to like the super popular names like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]… I would consider using one of them but my husband is pretty resistant to using a popular name. Other names I like are [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].

(You can see the struggle… we chose [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] but I am so stuck on the longer more royal names now and I’m afraid it diminishes the simple but classy [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]).

I actually saw [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and thought they looked perfect together, both classic and super classy. I don’t think [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] diminishes [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. Also [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] are very cute if you like that nn. I like the previous suggestions of a short, simple middle like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
