It’s cute, but is it useable? Opinions please!
I think it’s useable. I am not sure it will age well is my one reservation (but look at my list, I tend to like names others could critique as old lady, so it’s a matter of taste is all I’m saying), because it has shot up the charts so dramatically after emerging 6 years ago. But if you like that kind of style, it wouldn’t be at all out of place among today’s babies. It’s currently ranked in the 200 sand rising, so, it’s really hardly unheard of.
All best!
I grew up with a [name]Paisley[/name] she is an adult now and the names seems to have aged just fine in my opinion! I really like it personally!
I really hate the name [name]Paisley[/name]. I can’t explain exactly why. It just makes me cringe. I would rather name my baby:
[name]Velvet[/name]
[name]Calico[/name]
[name]Chantilly[/name]
Cambric
Charmeuse
Gingham
Sequin
Cheers!

Honestly, I don’t like it. I think of the fabric pattern or the country singer [name]Brad[/name] [name]Paisley[/name]. He’s not a bad association, but I’d assume the parents might be fans. I just really don’t like the sound of it personally.
A friend of mine is pregnant with her first child and plans to name her [name]Paisley[/name]. It’s not the worst name in our circle of friends, but I do find it dippy and childish.
All I can think of when I hear the name is a paisley pattern. Between that and the super trendy feel of it, I’m not a big fan.
I love [name]Paisley[/name] and seriously considered it for a middle name for our daughter. I hate there’s a girl on that Disney channel show named [name]Paisley[/name]. But to me the name connotates the [name]Paisley[/name] print. I think it’s a sweet name
I like the name, although I’m not sure I’m brave enough to ever use it. If anything it’s a big hippie to me, but I like that, haha.
I kind of liked it, but then I saw a little girl named [name]Paisley[/name] on a promo for “Toddlers and Tiaras.” That ruined it for me.
Frankly, I despise this name. It’s childish to put it simply. Imaigne a grown woman named [name]Paisley[/name]? [name]How[/name] about [name]Taffeta[/name]? Or [name]Denim[/name]? Maybe [name]Calico[/name]? No. You wouldn’t name your daughter any of these fabrics so why is [name]Paisley[/name] and exception when it’s actually a fairly ugly print to begin with in my honest opinion. Also, it’s nauseatingly trendy.
[name]Presley[/name], even though it’s not a name that I like, would be a good alternative to [name]Paisley[/name]. [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Priscilla[/name], [name]Penny[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name], Pamona, Pfifer, [name]Paloma[/name], [name]Poppy[/name], [name]Petra[/name], [name]Peyton[/name], [name]Pandora[/name], or even [name]Pamela[/name] would be a better choice then [name]Paisley[/name] all with the same unique ‘P’ beginning.
Well my name is [name]Velvet[/name]! So that gets my vote.
I know the cutest little girl named [name]Paisley[/name] and she has made me love the name.
Go for it!
