I have never heard of the sweets (I’m in Australia), and I love the [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] combination. [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] is a gorgeous name!
To me, the double vowel (at the end of [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] and beginning of [name_f]Edith[/name_f]) makes it a bit awkward. I just don’t think it flows nearly as well.
I also feel that [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] have a similar sweet rounded feel that [name_f]Edith[/name_f] does just not fit.
Some others that come to mind:
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
I’ve never heard of the sweets either (I’m in the western half of the US). I like [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] a lot.
I do enjoy the sounds of [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] but it does remind me of Parma Violets. To me, that actually gives it additional imagery -there’s something sweet and refreshing about it.
However, [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is my favoutite. There’s something sweet, delightful and charming about it, something grounded yet lively
I did think of Parma Violets with [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but I kind of think that’s a good thing. Although I do prefer [name_f]Edith[/name_f] over [name_f]Violet[/name_f], I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] does flow and fit [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]’s image better, so I would go for [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
I hadn’t thought of Parma Violets, but when you pointed it out I couldn’t ignore it! I don’t think it’d be too bad though, and [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] does flow better than [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f]. She might just get the nickname Parma [name_f]Violet[/name_f], which would actually be kind of cute.
Never heard of the sweets but it sounds like even those who have aren’t bothered by it. [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is beautiful. While I love [name_f]Edith[/name_f], it doesn’t flow as well.
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is perfect! So sweet and beautiful! I love [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]'s meaning. This name sounds very peaceful and delicate.
I admit I did think of Parma Violets however I don’t think thats necessary a deal breaker. It’s not a bad association at the end of the day. [name_m]Will[/name_m] she use her middle name often?
Alternatively, would you be open to putting another middle between the two names?
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] feels lacking in something, compared to [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
I like them both but my first thought with [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] was definitely Parma Violets…
I like the suggestion of another middle to break it up a bit.
