I stumbled upon these names yesterday, and I can’t get them out of my head. They both seem so I don’t know, old, but also really pretty. What do you guys think of these names? Which do you like more, [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] or [name_f]Claudia[/name_f]? And what would be some good middle names to go with them?
I like both names. [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] seems rather 50’s to me as I know several women in their 50’s with that name. I do think of [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] when I hear the name. I don’t think [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] was ever as popular as I don’t know any one with that name. IT does make me think of [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] Schifffer.
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u].
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
Caludia [name_f]Jade[/name_f]
What about [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]? Like [name_f]Claudia[/name_f].
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] by a landslide, if only because [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] means lame. I really like the suggestion of [name_f]Paloma[/name_f].
Two of my closest friends have these names…so I hate to say it, but [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] feels really dated to me. That said, it has a much prettier sound to me than [name_f]Claudia[/name_f].
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] is such a smooth pink-sounding name, I like it.
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] - well I have known too many of them!
I actually like [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] better than [name_f]Pamela[/name_f]. I know too many [name_f]Pamela[/name_f]'s, and it is sure to be shortened to [name_f]Pam[/name_f].
Thanks everyone! But you mainly contradicted each other a lot. Half said [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] was better, the other half prefer [name_f]Pamela[/name_f]. I don’t like [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], but thanks for the suggestion.
Any more middle name ideas?
I liked [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], but I feel like both names need a fun, current, trendy middle name, I just don’t know what.
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]? [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]? Slash, cross those two out, because I don’t like either of them, but that sort of name might work…
They are on the dated side but I actually find them beautiful as well. A friend of mine adores [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] to the point where she may use it, so there are some people out there who appreciate them.
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] Hesper
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Noemie[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]

[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Oriane[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
Actually I think [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is very cute. I agree that [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] could really be brought to the present with a current, fun, middle name.
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] with other nature/word names sounds nice:
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Cadence[/name_f]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Really love [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f].
I’m a huge fan of [name_f]Claudia[/name_f]. I like the idea of [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]…
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] by far!
I know a teenager named [name_f]Claudia[/name_f], and the name suddenly felt much younger to me. I’m really starting to love it. I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Pamela[/name_f]. Someone suggested [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], and that does sound prettier to me than [name_f]Pamela[/name_f].
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] is a hidden treasure in my opinion. I think you should go with that.
[name_f]Pacifica[/name_f]: Thanks for all the suggestions! I like [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Briony[/name_f], [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], and your idea of Hesper, reminded me of [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] which has special meaning to me, so I like [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] too! I also like [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].
axps: I love [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]/[name_f]Clover[/name_f] too! Thanks!
Juniperle: I like [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] too! And [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is a family name that I have to use, but I wasn’t sure if it fit.
Everyone: Thanks for everything. Any more middle name ideas?
I love [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_m]WAY[/name_m] much more than [name_f]Pamela[/name_f]. I think names that start with Cl sound so beautiful, and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] isn’t over-used and dated.
[name_f]Pamela[/name_f] on the other hand, seems dated, has the plain nn “[name_f]Pam[/name_f]” and makes me think of [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m].
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] wins by a land-slide, I don’t care that it means Lame, because who is going to know that?
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] comes to mind, as does [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
[name_f]Glad[/name_f] so many people like [name_f]Claudia[/name_f]! I think I prefer her to [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] too. But remember, with [name_f]Pamela[/name_f], I wouldn’t use the nn [name_f]Pam[/name_f], I would use [name_f]Mela[/name_f] or [name_u]Mel[/name_u].
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] is a beautiful name. It is on my list for middle names, however I am now a little heartbroken that it means lame.
I know, the meaning bothers me too! Lame is a bit insulting.
