Panra

I’ve just come across this name and I’m obsessed. Obsessed I tell you :heart_eyes::heart_eyes:. A Pakistani name meaning leaf, I feel this is a sleeker and more wearable alternative to [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] (which I also love but don’t think I would use as a first because of the Pandora’s box thing).

Thoughts? As always, I can take honesty and am expecting this one to be a bit divisive.

[name_f]Panra[/name_f] is intriguing - distinctive, sort of earthy and warm!

I think it might remind people of Panera Bread, but personally, it doesn’t bother me since that’s a more US thing

[name_m]Ah[/name_m] yeah I can see why that would be a thing and may be off-putting in the US. I adore it

It reminds me of [name_f]Panama[/name_f], funnily. The meaning is nice though. You might be interested in [name_f]Panna[/name_f] as well, meaning ‘emerald’ in Sanskrit.

As a US based person, ditto on the Panera thing.

[name_f]Panna[/name_f] is interesting and I adore the meaning ‘emerald’ as emeralds are one of my two favourite stones, I love other emerald names. But my brain wants to put in ‘cotta’ afterwards.
