I am looking for a [name_u]Paris[/name_u]-inspired baby name for a girl’s middle name. First name will be [name_f]Boheme[/name_f]. I am thinking of places in [name_u]Paris[/name_u], not just [name_m]French[/name_m] names. Let me know what you come up with!
Hmm. I would be more inclined to go with a classic french name in the middle for [name_f]Boheme[/name_f], as [name_f]Boheme[/name_f] is already a unique word name. Or choose a place name that is actually named after someone – isn’t just a place name.
I think it will sound very strange for anyone who speaks french as it might sound more like a description of something rather than a name. Would you consider a name that is also a name of one of the streets in [name_u]Paris[/name_u] (though I think most are named after men and many not even french) or honoring a famous Parisian? Many also kinda clash with [name_f]Boheme[/name_f]. Here are some thoughts:
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Elys[/name_f]ées – after [name_u]Les[/name_u] Champs-[name_f]Elys[/name_f]ées which means Elysian Fields, but then it’s kinda like you’re saying Elysian Bohemian in french I think. Not entirely sure, as I don’t speak french. Something to be aware of.
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Villette[/name_f] – after [name_m]Parc[/name_m] de la [name_f]Villette[/name_f]
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] – after [name_u]Rue[/name_u] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_m]Germain[/name_m], [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_m]Germain[/name_m]
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] – famous author who resided at the Palais [name_m]Royal[/name_m] in [name_u]Paris[/name_u].
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Coco[/name_f] / [name_f]Chanel[/name_f]
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] – after [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] Seyrig
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_m]Marceau[/name_m] – after Avenue [name_m]Marceau[/name_m]
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] Paix – after [name_u]Rue[/name_u] de la Paix. [name_m]French[/name_m] for “peace”, again sounds like Bohemian [name_u]Peace[/name_u] or something.
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] – St. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is the patron saint of [name_u]Paris[/name_u].
Not much help.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was [name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] ([name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] Church).
Other thoughts:
Beivre
d’Orsay
Seine
Triomphe
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any special connection with [name_u]Paris[/name_u]?
If so, maybe try looking for a place/street that means something to you. The first hotel you stayed in, the street you loved the most, your favourite building, etc.
Otherwise your personal connection to this beautiful city would be a bit lost, I think.
