Not really, because I don’t tend to like place names in general. But if [name_u]Paris[/name_u] has a special significance to your family, it’s certainly a lovely city to be named after!
It’s more of a pet name for me but it is a guilty pleasure of mine.
On a boy, sure, because [name_u]Paris[/name_u] was originally a male name, although the most famous male [name_u]Paris[/name_u] is maybe not the greatest namesake.
On a girl, meh, it feels a little tacky. I’ll blame [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m] for that.
It reminds me too much of [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m] and just feels a bit too much as a name.
For a boy and even then, not then.
What about [name_f]Parisa[/name_f]?
Unfortunately all I think of is [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m]
There is nothing wrong with the name [name_u]Paris[/name_u]. I know a few women named [name_u]Paris[/name_u] and they are all fine people.

No, while not a fan of Place names…[name_u]Paris[/name_u] seems a bit tacky and uber-pretentious. And, besides, the [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m] connection…ugh!
I only think of [name_m]Hilton[/name_m] and wouldn’t use it as a first name for that reason. It would be fine as a middle name.
[name_u]Paris[/name_u] has a pretty sound but unfortunately I do think of [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m]. I like it. I do think of [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m], but think that that image would be quickly replaced if I met an adorable little [name_u]Paris[/name_u]. [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] wears it well.
