Patrick or Frederick?

What do you think? [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] or [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]?

I already have a [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] ([name_f]Margot[/name_f]) [name_f]Louise[/name_f], future girls will be [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] Asdelia or [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. So need to fit with that general theme! (Quite posh I know!)

Also like
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Timothy[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]!

Both [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] work with [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Julia[/name_f].

That said, I love the name [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] - it is sexy to me and charming whereas [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is a bit stiff, like a diplomat at a banquet.

However for nn’s, I love [name_m]Fred[/name_m] and [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] and dislike [name_u]Pat[/name_u] and [name_f]Patty[/name_f].

To me, [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is too overused. [name_m]Timothy[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m], however, I adore! And [name_m]Timmy[/name_m] for a little boy is darling.

So I am no help whatsoever!

I prefer [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] over [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]. [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] is more approachable and likeable to me.

I prefer [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]. It sounds distinguished, whereas to me [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] seems a little dated.

[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] to me, especially with the other names in your sibset. It just fits so nicely.

[name_m]Frederick[/name_m]! I have a 3 year old [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] and it’s such a great name. Before he was born, I wasn’t sure about the nickname [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] and considered [name_m]Fritz[/name_m], but [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] turned out to be what we call our little guy. I have also considered [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] for a subsequent boy, but really don’t like any of the nicknames. Both names work well with your other choices and have great meanings, so you can’t go wrong.
