What do you all think of the name [name]Patrick[/name]?
do you think, as twin names, [name]Rupert[/name] [name]William[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Johnathan[/name] go well together?

It would work. [name]May[/name] I suggest [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Henry[/name]?
if the babies are boys then [name]William[/name] and [name]Johnathan[/name] are the middle names we will be using … but thank you anyway and i do like [name]Henry[/name]
I do think that [name]Rupert[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name] go together well. Neither of them are really my style.
I mainly don’t like [name]Patrick[/name] because of the nn [name]Pat[/name] and the teasing potential of prick But maybe if you go for [name]Rick[/name] or even Trick
I think [name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Rupert[/name] are cute together. I love [name]Patrick[/name]!
[name]Love[/name] both [name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Rupert[/name]…and they go together marvelously. Great choices!
[name]Love[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]. It would be on our list if I didn’t have a cousin already use it. [name]Rupert[/name] is okay. I think they sound good together though
[name]Love[/name] [name]Rupert[/name], [name]Patrick[/name] s nms but not a bad name and I think brothers named Patch and [name]Rue[/name] would be absolutely adorable
I love [name]Patrick[/name] with the nickname [name]Rickie[/name]- [name]Rick[/name] when he’s older; [name]Richard[/name] sounds old fashioned and then there’s the whole [name]Dick[/name] nickname thing.
[name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Rupert[/name] are fabulous names. I really like the nickname [name]Paddy[/name].
Luve [name]Patrick[/name]! [name]Don[/name]'t like the nickname [name]Pat[/name].
Unfortunately, since I’ve worked with children and have toddler niece and nephew my first thought is Spongebob’s best buddy. The show has been around since 1999 and it’s still going strong. Google [name]Patrick[/name] and the first thing you get is [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Star[/name]. Sometimes when the kids would be pretending, nobody wanted to be [name]Patrick[/name] because he’s not so bright
I don’t think [name]Patrick[/name] has the same distinguished feel as [name]Rupert[/name]. [name]Patrick[/name] feels more everyday, normal. It’s not intriguing like [name]Rupert[/name]. I’d pair [name]Rupert[/name] with something like
[name]Dietrich[/name]
[name]Edmund[/name]
[name]Bernard[/name]
[name]Conrad[/name]
[name]Wallace[/name]
[name]Rainier[/name]
I really like the name [name]Patrick[/name], I think that it works well with a twin [name]Rupert[/name].
[name]Patrick[/name] is one of my favorites! Use it!
[name]Rupert[/name] is cute, too, although I prefer [name]Patrick[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Rupert[/name]?
[name]Jonathan[/name] is better than [name]Johnathan[/name]. [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Jonathan[/name] is good, especially if you have a short last name.
[name]Patrick[/name] [name]Henry[/name] is the guy who said “Give me [name]Liberty[/name] or give me Death”. [name]Just[/name] in case you didn’t know that and if you don’t want any associations (although that is one of the better ones).
[name]EDIT[/name]: Sorry, didn’t catch the bit about twins. [name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Rupert[/name] is a great combo!
I like [name]Patrick[/name] but the nn “[name]Pat[/name]” has made me take it off my list. I have a cousin [name]Patrick[/name] and he is always called [name]Pat[/name]. I think it would be hard to get away from that nickname unless you affirmatively embrace another one. Some cute nns have been suggested.
I agree with nat108 that [name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Rupert[/name] dont’ seem to be the same style. That said, they are both fine names and the majority of posters seems to think they go well together.
I assume your middle names are non-negotiable based on your earlier post so I will not comment except to say that I like them.
Two lovely names and I think [name]Patrick[/name] is a ‘hidden in plain sight’ gem, such a classic, wonderful history but surprisingly much less popular than [name]Liam[/name], [name]Aiden[/name] or [name]Finn[/name] and it’s variations. I only know two Patricks, one is 70 and the other 11.
