Pearl and Rose? Please!

Hello everyone!
Any thoughts on the name [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] or Pearlrose? Does it sound okay? Any opinions would be much appreciated, thank you! It would be read as one word like [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]

I personally like [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], Pearlrose looks a little too meshed for my taste and a bit made up looking.

[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] looks better by far. I’m a little indifferent because it’s two word names, but honestly it sounds quite nice.

Agreed, I like the hyphen!

Definitely hyphenate. I personally find the name a little clunky and not to my taste.

I agree, hyphenate! Not sure about it, though I see it’s prettiness potential! Somehow reminds me of a [name_u]London[/name_u] suburb. I prefer [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_m]Hill[/name_m] is making me think Pearlrose is a place.)

I think only [name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] works? [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-[name_f]May[/name_f] might get misheard for [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] do something. And again [name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] could be a bit funny since pearl can be a verb. But it’s OK. I just don’t love the sound of [name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_f]Pearl[/name_f].

I like all of the names individually, but for me the flow of two single-syllable names hyphenated like that just sounds a little… off.

[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is probably my favourite of your options, purely because I like those two names best, but I’d much prefer just [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], just [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or an established word or name that sounds/feels similar in structure, like [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], Rosebay or [name_f]Ismay[/name_f].

I definitely prefer it hyphenated, but I agree it sounds rather clunky.
