Peculiar Middle Names

I think many of these are useable tbh. If we discounted all names that have a dark character/historical reference then there would be many fewer available names! Also, people use such names all the time, we are just used to them [name_f][/name_f]- think of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]! I’m a Shakespearean by background and I could not see myself using [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], or especially [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f], because of their tragic demises in the plays, but there are people using them all the time and despite that personal veto I still got excited to meet an [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] at my volunteering group.

That said, names here which I think are[name_f][/name_f] best avoided: Hubris, [name_m]Machiavelli[/name_m], [name_m]Napoleon[/name_m], Vindictus, and Iscariot.
