Peggy Skylyn?

What do you think of the name combination [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] [name_f]Skylyn[/name_f]? [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] was the name of a sweet lady in my church who made the best macaroni and cheese. [name_f]She[/name_f] passed away last year and I think [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] would be a good way to honor her. I like [name_f]Skylyn[/name_f] as a middle name. What do you think?

[name_f]Peggy[/name_f] [name_f]Skylyn[/name_f] is sweet! Clunky classic meets modern – that do feel a little mismatched in style, but it could work

It sounds very pretty, but I have two drawbacks personally. [name_m]The[/name_m] first is that there is a fairly popular character (and real person!) named [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] [name_m]Schuyler[/name_m] (from the musical Hamilton). [name_m]The[/name_m] second is that the spelling of [name_f]Skylyn[/name_f] is a little awkward for me, maybe [name_f]Skyelin[/name_f] or [name_f]Skylin[/name_f]? But if that doesn’t bother you then it’s a great name with a pretty sound!

“Peggy” has a warm, classic, and very down-to-earth charm. It might feel a bit old-fashioned to some people today, but that can actually make it stand out in a sweet, distinctive way, especially since it carries such a personal story for you. “Skylyn” has a completely different vibe, modern, airy, and a bit unique, the spelling isn’t really my style. [name_m]The[/name_m] contrast between the traditional “Peggy” and the more contemporary “Skylyn” could work nicely, and the flow of [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] [name_f]Skylyn[/name_f] sounds gentle and balanced.

I like [name_f]Peggy[/name_f], but I’m not a fan of [name_f]Skylyn[/name_f] personally. I think I prefer the simple [name_f]Sky[/name_f].

I’d recommend [name_f]Skylyn[/name_f] [name_f]Peggy[/name_f]!
