Hello! I’m looking for a name like mine: Vintage, Spanish - ish, feminine and spunky. Somehow sounds like a twenty something-year-olds name. I like to write poetry, modern fantasy, and futuristic dystopian stuff.

I recently started writing again!! It’s been a decade since I choose my pen name and I wonder if I still like it…

I definitely want something catchy, that stands out, but doesn’t sound too “fake.”

Iris Ever - my original favorite. Iris because I love rainbows and wanted some “vintage” options to match my name. Ever because of Happily Ever After (all word names I like )

Belle / Bella Reyes - Bella feels the most like a “real” name. Reyes means king.

Leda Periné - Leda I’ve always liked, like the swan. Períne after one of my favorite bands. Períne comes from peregrine.

Edith Mairet - Edith is lovely, lively, and happy. Mairet just looks so cool!

Lux Lawson - alliteration could be fun?

Pía Pedrosa - real cool but also sounds real. From mount Olympus / made of stone is a fun meaning.

Anya / Nora Holliday - might use Nora irl, but what a fun name! Anya is also on my list

Martha Chase - vetoed names turned pen names!

Amaryllis Milagro - love the imagery of this! Amaryllis, the flower that bloomed in Mexico on Christmas eve (legend wise) and milagro meaning miracles. Makes me think of the milagro heart.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_f]Bella[/name_f] [name_m]Reyes[/name_m] (its catchy, a Spanish flare and its super cool that [name_m]Reyes[/name_m] means king!),
Pía Pedrosa (I love an alliteration, its so catchy and perfect with your description!) and [name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_u]Chase[/name_u] (super cool, looks perfect!). If I saw any of these on a bookshelf, I’d be made up!

[name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Holiday[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] Mareit and [name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_u]Chase[/name_u] are my favourites!

I like [name_f]Anya[/name_f] because it poetically elegant and feminine. [name_f]Holiday[/name_f] is a unique name without making it sound made-up.

[name_f]Edith[/name_f] is one of my favourite names because of how classy and refined it sounds. Mairet reminds me of [name_u]Paris[/name_u] and [name_u]French[/name_u] literature and I love the vibe it gives off to me.

I normally wouldn’t choose [name_f]Martha[/name_f] but I love her with [name_u]Chase[/name_u]! [name_u]Chase[/name_u] adds a great edge to the name without making it sound boring or frumpy.
