[name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to know what everyone thought of the name Pencey. Its a family name for me, my great-great-great grandmothers name was Pencey [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
I was thinking of the combo Pencey [name_u]Rae[/name_u].
I’m not sure if it could hold its own as a first name.
It could probably be used as a nn for [name_u]Spencer[/name_u].
What do you think of the name [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]?
Im not expecting any kids, this is all theoretical.
I love [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] & espessialy [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] on a girl . I dont think i like Pencey as a stand alone name but as a nn is fine

[name_m]Just[/name_m] remembered that Pencey Prep was the name of the school in The Catcher in the [name_m]Rye[/name_m]. I am really starting to like [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] a lot more.
I prefer Pencey alone, actually. If Pencey is the family name, I think it would be cool if you kept it as is.
I love the sound of Pencey [name_u]Rae[/name_u]! (I love [name_u]Rae[/name_u]/[name_u]Ray[/name_u] with most things, haha.)
Pencey does sound a bit cutesy, but since it’s a legit family name it has a great story- should anyone ask her about it she’ll have a nice story to tell. [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] blends into each other too much for my taste, and I also am not a fan of [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] on a girl.
