Penelope or Annabelle?

We have a [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and a [name_u]Jude[/name_u]… Looking for girl names! If it’s a boy I think we like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] but having trouble with girl names.

Both names are very pretty! My favourite is [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], but they both work really well with [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] is very cute too

I love both [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], though not as keen on spelling [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] like this. I think they both go with brothers’ names. I choose [name_f]Penelope[/name_f].

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]! I don’t see the appeal in [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] or its nicknames…

With [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u], my favorite is [name_f]Penelope[/name_f].

I think they both go very well with [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. I adore [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] (this spelling).

I think that both would fit well with your kids’ names, but I prefer [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] (this is my favorite spelling of the name!). [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is beautiful too but it just doesn’t excite me as much.

Honestly, I think both are very ill fitted to your existing sibset. But, of the two, hands down [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_m]Simon[/name_m], and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is just way too stylistically different. The nn [name_u]Penny[/name_u] would fit in well with brothers names.

[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]

[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is beautiful!

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is my favourite!! Not keen on [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] at all I’m afraid.

I prefer [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. It is a bit long next to [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u], but it still feels right. I am not very fond of [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], particularly that spelling. I have always thought that [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is the kind of name a 6-year-old would pick for a doll because it sounds nice, but just doesn’t fit a real person. For some reason [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] feels incredibly frilly to me, even though other -bel- names can be quite pretty (in fact, my own name falls into the -bel- category).

It’s a really tough choice, but [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] wins by just a little. They are both gorgeous names, but I think that [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] works better with [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u].

With [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u], I’ll add another vote for [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is also a great name and it’s awesome that it’s inside the top 30 now, but that seems a little out of step with the less-popular [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u], if that is important to you. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_u]Penny[/name_u] are pretty delightfully Beatles-y, though!

Other names in a similar style, that are similarly popular to [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]:

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]

I think [name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] are lovely together. Pick the spelling you prefer! [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is also a beautiful name. Your baby girl would be lucky to have either one
