Percy Paisley Poet - for a boy

Thoughts? I quite like this one…but only for a boy.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you mean as one full name or three desperate names?
As one name its far too much. It reminds me of that book character [name_f]Milly[/name_f]-[name_f]Molly[/name_f]-[name_u]Mandy[/name_u]

Also, personally [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] is 100% a girls name. I feel its too pretty for a boy! [name_u]Percy[/name_u] is lovely and [name_u]Poet[/name_u] is very unisex imo.

If you mean as a combo, I dont think it flows well.

I think as a combo its a little overwhelming, but I love [name_u]Percy[/name_u]!

I agree with PP - as a combo, [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] is incredibly overwhelming, and very repetitive. I’m not keen.

I personally think its a little too much. I’m not one for 2 middle names anyway but this is just too much.

[name_u]Percy[/name_u] and [name_u]Poet[/name_u] are fab! I love alliteration but maybe three P’s in a row is a bit of a mouthful. A little like the tongue-twister " [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] picked a peck of pickled peppers."

I love [name_u]Percy[/name_u] and [name_u]Poet[/name_u] (both are on my shortlists!), but I don’t think [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] quite fits in the combo, though it isn’t horrendous, imo. I love the all Ps theme but I think there needs to be something slightly longer and less-rhymy in the middle to balance it all out.

Maybe something like:

  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] Petronis [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Pietro[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Peverell[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] (probably my favourite)
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Picasso[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Parthenios[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]

Breaking the ‘P’ pattern:

  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Frederic[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] (what I considered for my [name_u]Percy[/name_u] combo)
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]

Agree with most other that all together it’s a bit much, but i like all of them individually.

I think [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] would be a difficult name for a boy to wear right now, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like it. I am actually all for people reclaiming unisex names that are now known as ‘girls’ names. [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] I think would be a brave but sweet choice for a boy.

[name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] is so fun and spunky!

Too many Ps. I’m not a fan of [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] on either sex. [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] was a nice suggestion.

I agree, it’s too pretty for a boy, and overwhelming. I could go for 2 of the same letter, but 3 is too much.
