Perfect Balance :)

Calling all creative namers out there!

Im writing a TV show set at the turn of the century [name_m]Britain[/name_m]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though its sounds a lot like Downton [name_u]Abbey[/name_u], its not because it will focus more on the children living in a large house rather then the lives of the servents and their masters.

My family is very tied down to their roots of British, Swiss and [name_m]German[/name_m] but are also slightly eccentric which means that their names have to reflect that.

My father is very British whos wife’s mother was a Swiss Duchess married to a distant cousin of [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m] and grew up in Switzerland. Together they have six children. (yes its also starting to sound a bit like the Sound of [name_f]Music[/name_f]…but still!) five girls and one boy.

I think I have created the perfect balance of names but I wondered what you all thought? The titles will most likely be changed in the near future.

[name_m]Lord[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] Cunningham [name_u]Van[/name_u]-[name_m]Beau[/name_m], [name_m]Earl[/name_m] of Flintshire
Lady [name_f]Margaretta[/name_f] Cunningham [name_u]Van[/name_u]-[name_m]Beau[/name_m], [name_f]Countess[/name_f] of Flintshire

and their children…

Lady [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
Lady [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f]
Lady [name_f]Viola[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Prudence[/name_f]
The Honorable [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Fitzroy[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]
Lady [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f]
Lady [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Margaretta[/name_f] [name_f]Eugenie[/name_f]

so what do you think?
thank you xx

I think they all sound plausible

Be wary of wafting British around though. Is he English, Irish (as it was whole then), Scottish or Welsh?

Your titles are a bit wrong. The father wouldn’t have “[name_m]Lord[/name_m]” in front of his name unless he was the younger son of a duke. And the wife would be Lady Flintshire, not Lady and her first name. The only son would be a viscount or baronet, not an honourable. He would be [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Lord[/name_m] something. (Like [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Lord[/name_m] Linley.) If you had a second son, he would be an honourable.
