Yeah, I imagine I’d probably go without the accent marks most of the time, due to accents not being used much here (here being Oregon, US).
Probably the worst reason to love a name, but [name]Soren[/name] I love because there’s a pony named Soarin’ on My [name]Little[/name] Pony: friendship is [name]Magic[/name]. But, it’s not like I’m naming someone after the pony with the exact same spelling! It just inspired me to look up the name, and I fell in love with it.
[name]Irving[/name] is my grandfather’s middle name (He’s [name]Richard[/name] [name]Irving[/name]). I want to someday name a son after him, so I decided to give my potential future son his middle name (because I’m not naming my child “[name]Dick[/name].” ._.).
[name]Rune[/name], I just like. It sounds cool, and goes with my [name]Pagan[/name] beliefs.
[name]Indigo[/name], I recently found and fell in love with. It may change by the time I’m ready for children.
[name]Elodie[/name] I’ve liked for a while now. I agree, though, that the two are missing something.
My first thought? [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] Myst. Then I think, that’s lame. So I think: [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Too common sounding.
However, roses are one of my grandma’s favorite flowers. Another of her favorite flowers, are dahlias.
So I thought, [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name]. Still doesn’t flow right.
So I thought, [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Elodie[/name].
I’m in love.
It’s beautiful.
It doesn’t quite match all of your suggestions, but I’m really happy with it. Plus, I have a boy name and a girl name that can represent both of my grandparents. < 3
(If it helps any, my surname is “Cook,” and it doesn’t look like that’s changing anytime soon.)
