Perfect! (In my eyes, at least.)

So, I’ve been told I have horrible choices in names. They’re too “extravagant” or “your children will hate you” or “you can’t name your kid after an elf!” Anyways, I think I found the perfect name combinations, and I wanted to have you all tell me whether they’re good or not. Point out my flaws. Pretty please?

Boy Name: Søren [name]Irving[/name]. (Possibly Søren [name]Rune[/name] [name]Irving[/name].)

Girl Name: [name]Indigo[/name] Élodie. ([name]May[/name] tack on a third name if I find it. I like three names.)

So tell me your thoughts. Am I a horrible name-picker-outer?

[name]Love[/name] them - very unique but easy to spell  the only hard thing is the accents as most keyboards won’t have them! Very nice choices [name]IMO[/name]!

Very nice- [name]Love[/name] how there is that weird O thing in [name]Soren[/name]. It makes it more special. [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name]. & accent. Not too extravagant at all. Perfect in my eyes as well as yours.

[name]LOVE[/name] your girls pick, your boys is not my style but I certainly wouldn’t say that it was a bad choice and you children will not hate you! Good luck!

[name]Bree[/name]

[name]Love[/name] your names! Are you scandinavian? I love Søren… very nice. And [name]Rune[/name] I haven’t heard on anyone younger than 35!
[name]Indigo[/name] Élodie is super pretty.

[name]Soren[/name] is too challenging since it uses non-english characters that’s just going to get spelled [name]Soren[/name].

Your style is radically different from mine, so I can’t comment too much, but the o in [name]Soren[/name] is a bit unnecessary/problematic to me if you life in N.A. or in a country that doesn’t regularly use that letter.

I love [name]Indigo[/name] on a girl have even toyed with it as a name for one of my future daughters. In my opinion if people have got away with calling their children [name]Violet[/name] then why not [name]Indigo[/name]?!
Never thought of [name]Soren[/name] before and I love how it sounds for a boy! People just seem to get scared when anything different comes along I am sure they will come round

I agree if you’re in an English speaking country, the accented O will just get dropped so I would use an O without accent. That said, [name]Soren[/name] [name]Irving[/name], or [name]Soren[/name] [name]Rune[/name] [name]Irving[/name], or [name]Soren[/name] [name]Irving[/name] [name]Rune[/name]… all perfect.

[name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] is also lovely. There’s something a little off about the flow (both 3-3 syllable count with strong O and D sounds) but it might just be me. A third middle might help – [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Wren[/name] for the sake of example.

Good job! I think any child would be happy to have those names

I like [name]Soren[/name] and [name]Irving[/name]; together I find them a tad R heavy to say (especially once you add [name]Rune[/name]), but I think they flow nicely!

I really like [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name].

I like your boy name but [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] isn’t flowing well. I agree with greyer a 3rd name might help

I like the first names but [name]Irving[/name] is a little odd…also not really like the flow of [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name]…[name]Elodie[/name] is kind of strange…sorry just what I think

I love [name]Irving[/name], and [name]Soren[/name] isn’t that bad. Although I do hear “Soarin’” but that’s not a bad image.
[name]Indigo[/name] is a bit masculine for my tastes; I tend to think of [name]Inigo[/name] Montoya from the [name]Princess[/name] [name]Bride[/name]. However I don’t think a little [name]Indie[/name]/[name]India[/name] (nicknames are good for it!) would hate you. It’s easy to spell and distinctive.
Neither name is made up or looks like the alphabet had a seizure. I’d say go for it!

I really like [name]Soren[/name], and the combo is pretty nice too. I would much prefer to see [name]Soren[/name] & [name]Elodie[/name] for siblings, a [name]Indigo[/name] doesn’t seem as classy as a first name. I don’t mind [name]Indigo[/name] on either gender but [name]Elodie[/name] and [name]Indigo[/name] together don’t work. Personally, I prefer [name]India[/name] and [name]India[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] sounds a little bit better.

Your names aren’t crazy at all, a little bit different but nothing wrong with them at all.

Yeah, I imagine I’d probably go without the accent marks most of the time, due to accents not being used much here (here being Oregon, US).

Probably the worst reason to love a name, but [name]Soren[/name] I love because there’s a pony named Soarin’ on My [name]Little[/name] Pony: friendship is [name]Magic[/name]. But, it’s not like I’m naming someone after the pony with the exact same spelling! It just inspired me to look up the name, and I fell in love with it.

[name]Irving[/name] is my grandfather’s middle name (He’s [name]Richard[/name] [name]Irving[/name]). I want to someday name a son after him, so I decided to give my potential future son his middle name (because I’m not naming my child “[name]Dick[/name].” ._.).

[name]Rune[/name], I just like. It sounds cool, and goes with my [name]Pagan[/name] beliefs.

[name]Indigo[/name], I recently found and fell in love with. It may change by the time I’m ready for children.

[name]Elodie[/name] I’ve liked for a while now. I agree, though, that the two are missing something.

My first thought? [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] Myst. Then I think, that’s lame. So I think: [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Too common sounding.

However, roses are one of my grandma’s favorite flowers. Another of her favorite flowers, are dahlias.

So I thought, [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name]. Still doesn’t flow right.

So I thought, [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Elodie[/name].

I’m in love.

It’s beautiful.

It doesn’t quite match all of your suggestions, but I’m really happy with it. Plus, I have a boy name and a girl name that can represent both of my grandparents. < 3

(If it helps any, my surname is “Cook,” and it doesn’t look like that’s changing anytime soon.)

I love both your picks, actually! A lot of people who don’t really know what’s in-style right now would find them odd, but honestly, they’re very much in style. I just named my car [name]Elodie[/name], haha.

I love both of them! [name]Soren[/name] was on our list if this baby had been a boy. I know two little [name]Soren[/name]'s (both Scandinavian) and think it is a great name…they use the typical “o”, though.

[name]Soren[/name] is really cool and the combo works. [name]Indigo[/name] Élodie is lovely. Are you prn Élodie with the accent over the E? I love AY-loh-dee prn.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! [name]LOVE[/name] them!! Nice to see some extravagant taste out there!!

I [name]LOVE[/name] them. Perfect, unique names :). I usually hate indigo but in this case it is AMAZING! Definitely not a horrible name picker outer

I love [name]Soren[/name] [name]Irving[/name]. All kinds of awesome! I love [name]Indigo[/name] but I’m not loving [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Elodie[/name]. My throat hurts saying it. [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Delphine[/name] or [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Delia[/name]?
