Ideally I would have 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls.
What do you think of this perfect sibset (in my eyes)??
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] (DOB 11•27•2019)
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_m]Keith[/name_m] (DOB 9•11•2021)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] (DOB 3•19•2023)
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] (DOB 2•14•2025)
[name_m]David[/name_m]; I just always wanted a baby born in [name_u]November[/name_u]. And I think [name_m]David[/name_m] would be a great [name_u]November[/name_u] name.
[name_m]Warren[/name_m]; Named after my grandfather, who was in a war. So I think it would be amazing to be born on 9/11; honoring the troops.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]; Named after my great grandmother. [name_f]My[/name_f] great grandmother was born on 3.19.1941. And I was born on 3.19. So I think it would be amazing as [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is honoring my great grandmother, if she was born on her birthday.
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]; [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] just seems like a Valentines day name. I don’t know why. [name_m]Just[/name_m] the sound of this name seems like love is in the air
I really like your sibset, [name_m]David[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] are faves of mine and I like [name_m]Warren[/name_m] & [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] too. They all go beautifully together, complementary without being matchy. They flow well with their middles, I really can’t fault them. I love the sentiment too but as we all know these things rarely ever go exactly as we plan so perhaps [name_m]David[/name_m] will be a [name_f]July[/name_f] baby & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] might come in [name_u]December[/name_u] followed 10mins later by [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], lol…
I am the opposite to you, I hope to never have a [name_u]November[/name_u] baby due to zodiacs, but that’s based on my personal experiences.
I love [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_u]Carroll[/name_u]'s “[name_f]Alice[/name_f]'s Adventures in Wonderland” and the Disney classic… but, to be honest, I quickly get past the novel/film associations and land on, well… [name_f]Alice[/name_f] = “lice”
I think [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] is a stuffy, old lady name.
I like the name [name_m]David[/name_m]. It’s a very “safe” choice. I hope you get your [name_m]David[/name_m] in [name_u]November[/name_u], autumn babies are awesome!
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] = “warrant”… issued for your arrest?
Aw, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it to come off so harsh, I was trying to be a bit funny, really. Me and my big mouth, I can’t help it sometimes. You should use whatever names you want to use, regardless of what I or anyone else thinks.
It’s a bit unreasonable to ask people what they think of your favorite names and then get upset when someone doesn’t like them. [name_m]Just[/name_m] because they’re family names doesn’t mean we must approve.
I think they’re all perfectly nice names. It would be lovely to see [name_m]David[/name_m] on a little one.
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] - a classic and timeless choice.
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_m]Keith[/name_m] - I don’t know why but the sound of this combo made me think of the novel “War and [name_u]Peace[/name_u]”. Never mind, you’re honouring your war veteran grandfather so family significance trumps all.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] - [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is my middle name so I wholeheartedly approve of your choice! Ok, I’m biased but I still approve!
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] - I like [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] but I love the nn [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] a little more. [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is a family name for me.
I think the four names go well together and I hope that you get to have your four babies in the future! Good luck!
I’ve never been a fan of [name_m]Warren[/name_m], but since it honours your grandfather, I’ll leave it at that. [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] are very nice though.
I do agree with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] though, if you don’t want anyone to turn them down, why would you ask?
I dont really care if they dont like my names. I really dont. But the way she put it, could of been a little better. I could care less if you dont like [name_m]Warren[/name_m], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_m]David[/name_m]. I found how she stated what she thought to be slightly hurtful, is that wrong of me to have feelings?
Of course it isnt wrong, it just seems a bit silly to get that worked up over it. Most people choose to ignore it and move on. Honestly, I didnt see anything nasty from her post, but then again, I’ve been sworn at for my name choices on a different forum
I like each name and to be honest, I’m DELIGHTED that someone else likes [name_m]Keith[/name_m] (even if only in the middle). [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is NMS, but it’s a family name for you, so that’s what matters.
I like all your name choices, they go well with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_m]David[/name_m] being more classic and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] & [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] more of vintage gems.
