My first thought was [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Perry[/name_u], but then I thought of The Band [name_u]Perry[/name_u] and now I think when I hear [name_u]Perry[/name_u], I’d picture the frontwoman for that band. I’m going to say that [name_u]Perry[/name_u] as a first name makes me think girl…unless it were short for [name_m]Peregrin[/name_m]
[name_u]Perry[/name_u] is all boy.
It depends on the spelling of the name but I do prefer it on a boy.
[name_u]Perry[/name_u] - Boy
[name_u]Peri[/name_u]/[name_f]Perri[/name_f]/[name_f]Perrie[/name_f] - Girl
I agree with [name_u]Mischa[/name_u]. If I see [name_u]Perry[/name_u], I automatically think male, and honestly I think of someone middle-aged or older. [name_u]Peri[/name_u], however, is usually a girl, though often short for a longer name. My grandma is called [name_u]Peri[/name_u], though her real name is [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].
As for names similar to [name_u]Perry[/name_u], there’s the whole gamut of rhyming names: [name_u]Barry[/name_u], [name_f]Carrie[/name_f], [name_u]Gerry[/name_u], [name_m]Harry[/name_m], [name_m]Larry[/name_m], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Sherry[/name_f].
If you want longer forms: [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m], Perela/Perele or [name_f]Perla[/name_f], [name_f]Peridot[/name_f], [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] nn [name_u]Peri[/name_u] or Persy, [name_f]Persis[/name_f]
I don’t like it for either but it sounds more masculine
I think it’s a platypus name.
Boy.
My first thought is Dr. [name_u]Perry[/name_u] from Srubs.
