Peter!

I love this name, but when I shared my list with a friend, she thought it was grandpa-ish. What do you think? Also-- I would like for a future son to be able to go by PJ if he wanted (that’s why I have [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] in my signature) but I am not at all in love with that combo. Please offer your J-name suggestions!

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Jace[/name_u]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Jax[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Josiah[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] Juvenal
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Jonas[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Jordan[/name_u]

and no… [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is timeless, it could be a grandpa name, but it wears just as well on a two year old… it’s the [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] of boys names

I think PJ is terrible. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is great though.

Och, I love [name_m]Peter[/name_m]! I agree with @boyandgirl - I’m not a fan of the initials/_J nicknames, but it’s not really my call. I actually love [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]. I think it’s great. Sensitive and strong, wise and lively. A few other ideas:

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Josiah[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] (meh, not the best, but I like the idea of something like [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Gaspard[/name_m])
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Jem[/name_u]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Jolyon[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Josef[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Jory[/name_u]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] Joash (sort of on the weird side, but with the popularity of [name_m]Josiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m], I feel like Joash could be pretty usable)

When I was considering adding him to my list (which I still haven’t completely turned down, but it’s not a “yes” for now), I liked [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] or [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]. I still really love [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], and I like the idea of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m].

Good luck!
