My step sons are both very into spiderman at the moment, and have decided the baby should be called [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. It’s not generally my style, but I do have a bit of a soft spot for it from my love of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m], and my wife likes it too. I’ve just checked the popularity for it and its not in the top 100, which is good (if quite surprising), so it seems like it could be a top contender for us. I’m just a little worried about picking a name that doesn’t suit either mine or my wife’s criteria on the whim of two little boys!
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you mind sharing what your sons names are? You could also use [name_m]Peter[/name_m] as a middle name. I think it’s a very handsome name and yeah it’s surprisingly not popular right now.
Since it’s not well-used right now, it kind of hits that sweet spot of familiar but not ubiquitous. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] has lots of great namesakes.
They are [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m], which are very much my wife’s style and not at all mine. But seeing as this will more than likely be my only child, I want his name to be perfect.
I do think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] go very well together, but you should definitely love the name yourself.
What is your style? I do think [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is very handsome and I think it goes pretty well with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
I also think [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] go well together!
I like [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and think it works well with the brothers. You both need to love it though.
I agree with this.
Peter flows nicely with your stepsons’ names. It also ranks as one of the top names of CEOs in the U.S…
Personally, I think its a name that comes across as friendly, strong and smart.
The kids might be on to something!
I like much longer, slightly quirky names. My favourite names are [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], but my wife doesn’t like any of them.
Neither of us really care if the baby’s name doesn’t fit with my step sons names though, we know plenty of families where the children’s names don’t fit together. So it would be cute, but it’s not a big deal.
I think [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is handsome and would be a good fit.
