This is a relatively new combination for me and I was hoping to get some feedback on it! Previously I had [name_f]Petra[/name_f] with [name_f]Signe[/name_f] so [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Signe[/name_f]! Which one do you think works the best with [name_f]Petra[/name_f]? Does this combination work with my other ones listed? Honest thoughts and opinions would be great! Thanks!
I actually really like [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Mileva[/name_f]! Can you tell me a little bit about [name_f]Mileva[/name_f]? I’m familiar with [name_f]Milena[/name_f], but not [name_f]Mileva[/name_f], so much. Either way, I like it more than [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Signe[/name_f], and love the Slavic/Eastern European vibe it has going on (which meshes so well with all your other favorites!).
@ashthedreamer Thank you for your reply! [name_f]Mileva[/name_f] is relatively new to me as well! I was borrowing through Czech names on Nameberry and I came across it and I immediately fell in love with it! I did some research on it and [name_f]Mileva[/name_f] was the name of [name_m]Albert[/name_m] Einstein’s first wife and she was Serbian! So it is very slavic and Eastern European! I am pronouncing the name like [name_f]Milena[/name_f] except with a v instead of an n!
It’s absolutely breathtaking
Awe! Thank you so much!
[name_f]Petra[/name_f] is my favorite name right now. I do like the Slavic-sounding combination of [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Mileva[/name_f], much better than [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Signe[/name_f].
@jackiet That’s what drew me to the name, the slavic sounding combination! I think that it works so much better than [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Signe[/name_f] did! As much as I loved [name_f]Signe[/name_f], this one is better!
I love [name_f]Petra[/name_f]! Really no opinion on the middles.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it, fits in well with your style.
Unless you have Slavic roots, I wouldn’t recommend you that combo. [name_f]Petra[/name_f] may be Greek, but it’s actually most used in Slavic countries. [name_f]Mileva[/name_f] isn’t an actual name - it is a Slavic surname meaning “daughter of [name_f]Mil[/name_f]”. Slavic people almost never use surnames as firsts. [name_f]Mileva[/name_f] Maric was called [name_f]Mileva[/name_f] because she was named after her father [name_m]Milos[/name_m]. Your combo is beautiful but maybe too Slavic. Why don’t you use [name_f]Mila[/name_f] or [name_f]Milena[/name_f] instead? They have the same origin but are not as obvoius and flow beautifully with [name_f]Petra[/name_f].
